Moving iMage sees momentum into holiday season, favorable Q2 comparison
"We are optimistic that the industry's strong box office momentum will extend through the holiday season and transition into an exciting lineup of releases for 2025. While our fiscal Q2 is typically slower due to the holiday season, the current industry climate presents a unique opportunity for favorable year-over-year comparisons due to last year's setbacks related to the Hollywood strikes. Despite this improved environment, we still have not made back all the ground lost from the post-Covid recovery that was occurring prior to the strikes. However, the industry is re-gaining momentum, and we expect our customers to allocate more of their refreshed budgets in the second half of our fiscal year, which aligns with the first half of calendar 2025. "In parallel, we are advancing our internal growth initiatives across the cinema and out-of-home entertainment markets, all aimed at driving revenue growth and margin expansion with the majority introducing recurring revenue streams. As we make progress on these initiatives, we look forward to keeping our investors updated on these initiatives and the value they bring."
Moving iMage reports Q1 EPS 0c vs. 4c last year
Reports Q1 revenue $$5.3M vs. $6.6M last year. $.Phil Rafnson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MiT commented: "Our first fiscal quarter delivered promising results, underscoring a positive shift in the industry. The combined impact of a robust summer box office and a critical technology upgrade cycle has provided theaters with the confidence to start releasing budgets to invest in premium technologies. We successfully fulfilled orders for high-end solutions including immersive audio systems, laser projection upgrades and our own proprietary products, reinforcing our commitment to excellence. "With the strikes now behind us, the industry demonstrated remarkable resilience propelled by a strong domestic box office performance this summer. As we move into the holiday season, momentum is clearly building. Major players like AMC, Regal and Cinemark are reporting solid gains. AMC has experienced increased attendance, especially for major releases, and Cinemark's third-quarter results surpassed expectations as audiences enthusiastically embrace both premium experiences and traditional moviegoing. "This resurgence aligns seamlessly with our premium offerings such as immersive sound systems and advanced laser projection upgrades, which are increasingly in demand as customers seek to enhance the theater experience. We are energized by this reinvigorated interest and remain committed to supporting the industry's growth with innovative high-quality solutions."

Moving iMage reports Q4 EPS (4c) vs (2c) last year
Reports Q4 revenue $6.3M vs $5.8M last year. Phil Rafnson, chairman and chief executive officer of MiT commented, "The fourth quarter marked the close to a challenging fiscal year, one in which we successfully managed through the industry disruptions caused by the actors and writers strikes that began during our second fiscal quarter. While the strong momentum and results from our first fiscal quarter did not continue throughout the remainder of the year, we made significant progress behind the scenes on our newer initiatives that we believe will drive much improved results in the years to come. These initiatives included the completed testing of LEA Professional's smart power amplifiers at a top 10 circuit, with ongoing testing at several other top circuits while progressing towards commercialization of our emerging products, including MiTranslator and E-Caddy.
