Company Reports Q2 Revenue of $6.35B, Beating Expectations
Reports Q2 revenue $6.35B, consensus $6.03B. Total company orders were up approximately 40%. "We ended the first half with a stronger than expected second quarter, including better sales, adjusted EPS and free cash flow," said Chairman & CEO David Gitlin. "Organic sales returned to growth earlier than expected, up 3%, driven by strong performance in our CSA segment. Improving Residential and Light Commercial markets in CSA and CSE are encouraging. Orders were very strong globally in the second quarter supported by continued data center demand. Given record backlog levels and our year-to-date performance, we are raising our full-year outlook and now expect sales of about $23 billion and adjusted EPS of ~$2.90."

Carrier Global announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to sell its Noresco business to Opterra Energy Services, a subsidiary of LS Power. The transaction is expected to close shortly.
Carrier Global Appoints PTC CEO Neil Barua to Board
Carrier Global (CARR) announced the election of Neil Barua, president and CEO of PTC (PTC), to its board of directors, effective immediately. He will serve on the board's technology and innovation and compensation committees. Barua has been president and CEO of PTC since 2024.
Carrier Global Acquires 75F to Enhance Building Automation Capabilities
Carrier Global has acquired 75F, a provider of cloud-native, wireless, AI-enabled building automation systems. The combination of Carrier's WebCTRL building controls install base, Abound predictive analytics capability and the Nlyte operational intelligence platform with 75F's unified data layer and AI capabilities will create a differentiated end-to-end offering spanning equipment, controls, analytics and outcomes for buildings globally. 75F's platform combines wireless sensors, intuitive controls, cloud software and AI-enabled automation designed to reduce installation time and simplify commissioning while optimizing energy efficiency and indoor air quality. Carrier plans to integrate 75F's generative and agentic AI as well as auto-commissioning capabilities into its large commercial platforms, including its Carrier QuantumLeap thermal management suite.
