Company Reports Q2 Revenue of $10.5B Exceeding Expectations
Reports Q2 revenue $10.5B, consensus $10.46B. Total case volume increased 1.9%; independent restaurant case volume increased 5.1%. "Our team delivered another strong quarter, highlighted by accelerating volume growth, record Adjusted EBITDA and Adjusted EBITDA margin and strong Adjusted EPS growth in what remains a challenging but stable industry environment," said Dave Flitman, Chair of the Board and CEO. "Importantly, our results are in line with our long-range plan, including 10% Adjusted EBITDA growth and 21% Adjusted Diluted EPS growth driven by 29 basis points of margin expansion and 5% independent restaurant case growth. By leveraging our continuous improvement and self-help culture, we are enhancing service, improving productivity and delivering sustainable, profitable growth. US Foods Awarded $166.97M Food Contract
US Foods has been awarded a maximum $166.97M firm-fixed-price with economic-price-adjustment, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for full-line food and beverage items. This was a sole-source acquisition using justification 10 U.S. Code 3204, as stated in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1. This is a 329-day bridge contract with no option periods. The ordering period end date is May 8, 2027. Using military service is Navy. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2026 through 2027 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support.
US Foods Board Leadership Transition: Dave Flitman Becomes Chair
US Foods Holding "announced that its Board of Directors has approved a Board leadership transition. Effective today, Dave Flitman, currently Chief Executive Officer assumed the additional role of Chair of the Board.
