Standard Nuclear Signs Fuel Supply Agreement with Antares
Standard Nuclear announced the execution of a binding fuel supply agreement, FSA, for supply of TRISO fuel with Antares Nuclear, a nuclear fission energy company developing microreactors for defense and space applications. As part of the FSA, Standard Nuclear will deliver a minimum of one MTU, up to eight MTUs of TRISO fuel to Antares through 2035. Antares will use Standard Nuclear's TRISO fuel to power its microreactors, which are designed to enable critical mission capabilities for both the Department of War and commercial customers. "Antares is building reactors for some of the most demanding environments on earth and in space, and Standard Nuclear is proud to support Antares for their strategic energy applications," said Kurt Terrani, President and Chief Executive Officer of Standard Nuclear. "We are working to scale our TRISO production capacity across identical facilities and continue to adhere to our customers' needs. Now, as our customers move from demonstration toward commercial deployment, we are building the supply chain that advanced reactors need to meet their commercial needs and our nation's energy and national security."

Radiant's Kaleidos is a 1-megawatt nuclear microreactor designed for transport and direct deployment at customer sites. This long-term commitment advances Standard Nuclear's mission to build a domestic supply of advanced nuclear fuel by securing multi-year customer agreements for its U.S.-produced TRISO fuel.
