Nasdaq 100 Contract Down 0.2%, Cisco Down 4.1%
Index futures are mixed in the opening hours of the evening session, with S&P e-minis flat, Dow Industrials up marginally, and Nasdaq 100 contract down by 0.2%. Softer than expected inflation data compressed yields and helped to propel the AI trade on Wednesday with many of this year's winners in Semiconductors, Semi Equipment, Memory, and Hardware leading the charge. The momentum of that exuberance could be fleeting however after post-earnings selloffs in some of the larger AI-themed stocks - Cisco slid 4% while Cerebras Systems retreated 16% afterhours. In commodities, WTI Crude Oil has continued to consolidate this month's advance with a 1% decline below $82.70. Precious metals are rangebound, though traders are positioning for renewed interest as expectations of Fed tightening recedes following the latest tamer inflation and softer labor economic reports.Check out this evening's top movers from around Wall Street, compiled by The Fly.HIGHER AFTER EARNINGS -Harmonicup 19.2%Omerosup 18.7%EnerSysup 11.4%Grocery Outletup 10.6%Jack in the Boxup 5.2%DOWN AFTER EARNINGS -Cerebras Systemsdown 16.1%StubHub Holdingsdown 13.7%Resideo Technologiesdown 7.6%Pan American Silverdown 5.5%Coherentdown 4.2%Cisco Systemsdown 4.1%
Omeros Q2 Revenue $32.2M, Exceeds Expectations
Reports Q2 revenue $32.2M, consensus $12.67M. "We are very pleased with the strong momentum and growing market acceptance in the first full quarter of YARTEMLEA's commercial launch," said Gregory A. Demopulos, M.D., Omeros' Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "Equally gratifying are the consistent reports from transplant physicians nationwide describing responses to YARTEMLEA in their adult and pediatric patients, including those who had not responded to prior off-label C5 inhibitor administration. YARTEMLEA is saving lives and, with FDA approval, is now broadly accessible in the U.S. Substantial second-quarter YARTEMLEA revenues have enabled us to continue strengthening our capital structure. We repurchased an additional 489,000 shares of common stock in the open market and reduced the outstanding principal amount of our 2029 convertible notes by 43%, eliminating nearly $9 million in future cash interest payments and approximately 5 million additional shares of potential dilution. At the same time, our work with Novo Nordisk on the MASP-3 inhibitor zaltenibart remained on track toward Phase 3 trial initiation, while our complement, addiction, oncology, and infectious disease programs continued advancing. Collectively, these programs position Omeros for a broad range of value-driving milestones over the next 18 months."
Omeros Receives NTAP Status for Yartemlea
Omeros Corporation announced that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, CMS, has granted New Technology Add-On Payment, NTAP, status for Yartemlea under the Fiscal Year 2027 Hospital Inpatient Prospective Payment System, IPPS, Final Rule. Beginning October 1, 2026, eligible hospitals treating Medicare patients with Yartemlea for hematopoietic stem cell transplant-associated thrombotic microangiopathy, TA-TMA, will receive additional Medicare reimbursement. Yartemlea is the first and only FDA-approved treatment for TA-TMA, a rare, life-threatening complication of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, HCT. Approximately 30% of patients undergoing allogeneic HCT in the United States are Medicare beneficiaries, representing a growing segment of the transplant population at risk for TA-TMA.
