Ingram Micro Secures U.S. Patent for Xvantage Support
Ingram Micro announced the issuance of a U.S. patent supporting Xvantage, the company's AI-powered platform and the foundation of its intelligent operating system for the global technology ecosystem. The patented Vendor and Customer Agnostic Framework enables customers, vendors and partners to connect to Ingram Micro using the systems, data formats and business processes they already have in place, eliminating the need for costly custom integrations. By reducing complexity and standardizing how information moves across the technology value chain, the framework accelerates onboarding, supports automation at scale and creates a stronger foundation for AI-driven insights and growth. The patent marks another milestone in Ingram Micro's transformation into the intelligent operating system for the global technology ecosystem and reinforces its strategy of building technologies that remove friction. Unlike traditional integrations that require custom development, VCAF provides a scalable framework that connects customers and vendors using their existing systems. As adoption grows, the platform becomes more intelligent, driving greater automation and increased value.

Markets Decline as U.S.-Iran Tensions Rise, S&P 500 Down 0.4%
Markets returned from the extended holiday weekend to familiar macro-oriented concerns - the continued escalation of tensions between U.S. and Iran in the Middle East propping up energy prices while also elevating inflation expectations that are contributing to higher interest rates. Major indices were down across the board, with Dow Jones Industrials - where Energy is a relatively smaller and Healthcare is a relatively larger contributor vs. S&P 500 - having an outsized 600 point, or 1.2% decline. S&P 500 - where Energy was the best performing sector and Healthcare was the worst - was predictably down by a much smaller margin of 0.4%, though the index was also boosted by AI capex-specific areas. The eight best performing stocks in the S&P 500 today, including Lumentum, Intel, and Seagateare all in the AI buildout momentum space. In the opening hour of the evening session index futures are flat, though sentiment is fragile as steady headlines profiling U.S.-Iran hostilities are impacting the oil markets. WTI crude oil has extended its gains above $94 per barrel, a multi-month high. Precious metals are also under pressure despite USD retreat, with traders likely scaling out of last months' winning trades in preparation for CPI and PPI data this week, which could solidify expectations of a Fed tightening later this month.Check out this evening's top movers from around Wall Street, compiled by The Fly.HIGHER AFTER EARNINGS -InnovAge Holdingup 9.4%ALSO HIGHER -Chime Financialup 9.2% after acquisition of Stride Bank and raised guidanceDOWN AFTER EARNINGS -ServiceTitandown 20.3%MIND Technologydown 12.9%Brazedown 12.0%Casey's General Storesdown 8.5%Barnes & Noble Educationdown 1.9%ALSO LOWER -Evommunedown 15.1% after EV0756 trial did not meet primary and secondary endpointsTarget Hospitalitydown 6.9% after equity offeringIngram Microdown 5.6% after equity offering
