Accenture Acquires Tokyo-based Tech Provider Comware

Accenture has agreed to acquire Comware, a Tokyo-based provider of end-to-end technology services for mid-market companies. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Comware will add more than 180 professionals to Accenture.

Accenture Acquires Dutch SAP Partner McCoy

Accenture has agreed to acquire McCoy, a Dutch SAP transformation partner for mid-market companies. Upon closing, McCoy will become part of Accenture Edge, Accenture's recently launched mid-market business. Founded in 2012, McCoy is headquartered in the Netherlands and has offices in Spain as well as in the Philippines. The company designs, implements and manages SAP solutions across ERP, data, business solutions, managed services and enterprise integration. McCoy is an SAP consultancy organization for the mid-market in the Netherlands and is recognized as an SAP Gold Partner. McCoy will bring more than 380 specialized professionals to Accenture Edge. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions, including the receipt of required regulatory approvals. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

UniCredit Partners with Accenture and IBM for Strategic Collaboration

UniCredit (UNCRY), Accenture (ACN) and IBM (IBM) have announced a long-term strategic collaboration that establishes the technology foundation supporting UniCredit's growth across the thirteen European markets in which the Group operates. The companies will work to design a new operating model for banking technology. As part of the agreement, Accenture will acquire from IBM the majority stake in the joint venture that currently manages a significant portion of UniCredit's technology infrastructure. Additionally, IBM will provide modernized technology platforms to UniCredit, including IBM Z, software, and consulting. This agreement is the beginning of a multi-year program to enhance the bank's underlying systems and operating model. Today's news is part of UniCredit's broader growth strategy and is intended to set a reference model for the next generation of banking technology in Europe, enabling faster innovation and scaling AI capabilities across the Group. Completion of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including required regulatory approvals and applicable information and consultation procedures.
