CAMP4 Therapeutics Receives Australian Approval to Initiate CMP-002 Clinical Trial
CAMP4 Therapeutics announced that it has received clearance from Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration, or TGA, and local Human Research Ethics Committee to initiate the Company's Phase 1/2 clinical trial of CMP-002, a disease-modifying therapeutic for SYNGAP1-related disorder.
X4 Pharmaceuticals Appoints Kelly Gold as Independent Director
X4 Pharmaceuticals (XFOR) announced the appointment of Kelly Gold to the company's board of directors effective July 1, adding strong strategic and financial expertise. Gold will serve as an independent director and member of the audit committee. Gold is currently the CFO at CAMP4 Therapeutics (CAMP).

"We have made significant progress year-to-date against our goal of bringing a potential first-in-class treatment for SYNGAP1-related disorder into the clinic," said Josh Mandel-Brehm, President and Chief Executive Officer of CAMP4. "We submitted our first regulatory filing for CMP-002 in Australia which positions us to initiate a global first-in-human Phase 1/2 clinical trial in the second half of 2026. Additional filings with global regulatory agencies are planned throughout 2026. We are also excited to support the ProMMiS study through CURE SYNGAP1 and invest in the foundational science that will further validate our understanding of the natural history of SYNGAP1 and advance meaningful, potentially disease-modifying medicines for all patients affected by this disease."
CAMP4 Therapeutics Prices 5 Million Share Offering at $6.00 Each
CAMP4 Therapeutics announced the pricing of its underwritten offering of 5,000,000 shares of its common stock at a price of $6.00 per share. The gross proceeds to the Company from this offering are expected to be $30M, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and other offering expenses. The offering is expected to close on or about December 19, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions. All of the securities to be sold in the offering are being offered by the Company. The financing includes participation from new and existing investors, including a large mutual fund complex, Janus Henderson Investors, Coastlands Capital, EcoR1 Capital, Trails Edge Capital Partners, and Vivo Capital. Leerink Partners is acting as the sole underwriter for the offering.
