Anterix Appoints Kim Green-Kerr as Chief Revenue Officer
Anterix announced the appointment of Kim Green-Kerr as chief revenue officer. She joins Anterix as utilities and critical infrastructure operators accelerate investment in connectivity to run a more intelligent, automated grid. In her role, Green-Kerr will lead Anterix's commercial organization and go-to-market strategy. Green-Kerr most recently served as senior VP of enterprise sales and operations at UScellular.
Anterix and Lynk Global Receive FCC Experimental License
Anterix and Lynk Global announced that the Federal Communications Commission has approved an experimental license to explore the use of Lynk's satellite direct-to-device communications network in Anterix's licensed 900 MHz broadband spectrum. Across multiple geographic locations, the parties will test representative communications devices, from land mobile radios, smart phones, and computers to advanced routers and edge devices.
Anterix Enters Agreement to Sell 10 MHz Spectrum License to Benton PUD
Anterix announced that it has entered into an agreement with Public Utility District No. 1 of Benton County of Kennewick, WA, to sell a 10 MHz 900 MHz spectrum license. Benton PUD's 900 MHz network will be utility-owned, utility-controlled, and purpose-built for the demands of its 927-square-mile service territory in Benton County, Washington - serving more than 58,000 customers across the communities of Kennewick, Richland, Prosser, Benton City, and Finley.
Anterix and NorthWestern Energy Sign Sale Agreement
Anterix (ATEX) and NorthWestern Energy (NWE) announced a sale agreement, marking the first planned deployment of Anterix's 10 MHz broadband configuration in the 900 MHz band. The agreement follows the Federal Communications Commission's unanimous February approval to expand Anterix's broadband spectrum allocation, which will effectively almost double the capacity available for utilities.
