Textron Appoints Brian Rohloff as CEO of Aviation Segment
Textron announced the appointment of Brian Rohloff as president and CEO of its Textron Aviation segment, effective August 31. Rohloff succeeds Ron Draper, who announced his retirement after more than 27 years with Textron, including the past eight years leading Textron Aviation. Rohloff has held leadership positions at Textron Aviation spanning customer support, sales, supply chain and quality throughout his career, providing a broad perspective across the business. Most recently, he served as senior vice president, Customer Support, where he led Textron Aviation's global customer support operations.
Company FY26 Funding Outlook Impacts Adjusted EPS
The company's current full year outlook assumes receipt of additional FY26 funding on the MV-75 Cheyenne program through an Above Threshold Reprogramming request. Absent the receipt of any additional funding and inclusive of other outlook assumptions, adjusted EPS could be negatively impacted by 20c-30c.

Reports Q2 revenue $3.8B, consensus $3.81B. "Q2 continued a strong start to the year for Textron with revenue growth in each of our manufacturing segments contributing to higher revenues of $500M through the first half of the year," said CEO Lisa Atherton. "Bell continued to advance the MV-75 Cheyenne with the successful production of key long-lead parts and components. At Textron Aviation, healthy demand drove strong order activity and the Ascend continued to scale with the delivery of the first five aircraft to NetJets."
Pipistrel Signs Purchase Agreement for 50 Voyager Aircraft with Epic Flight Academy
Pipistrel announced Epic Flight Academy as the launch customer for the Pipistrel Voyager during Textron Aviation's press conference at EAA AirVenture 2026. The company has signed a purchase agreement for up to 50 Voyager aircraft, with an order for 10 initial deliveries beginning in 2027, and options for up to 20 additional aircraft in 2028 and 20 in 2029, supporting the continued expansion of its training fleet and growing demand for pilot training.
Pipistrel Introduces Next-Gen Training Aircraft Voyager
Pipistrel introduced the Pipistrel Voyager, a next-generation training aircraft designed to expand capability for flight schools while maintaining the efficiency and simplicity owners and operators expect from Pipistrel. Purpose-built for evolving pilot training requirements, the Voyager is designed to align with anticipated Modernization of Special Airworthiness Certification regulations. This positions the aircraft to support broader training missions while improving access to pilot development. The aircraft is expected to enter into service in 2027.
