Comcast is not a good buy right now due to its current price of $20.66, which is significantly below the lowest analyst target of $18 from KeyBanc. The stock has a very low RSI of 18.53, indicating it is oversold, but the negative sentiment surrounding increased competition from SpaceX and recent downgrades from multiple analysts suggest further downside risk. The main risk is the potential for the stock to drop to $18, which is 13% lower than the current price.

31 analysts cover CMCSA: 30 rate it Buy, 1 Hold and 0 Sell. The average price target is 33.45.

$CMCSA Throughout the years I have made good money on a "melting ice cube" type company. This name would certainly fit that description. I'd argue that the discount that is offered by having all these assets under one umbrella is masking the value. We already know the spinoff is happening. We know that the 19.9% to the parent company is allowing them to monetize it tax free. We know the share buybacks have been paused taking away the floor in the stock. This creates the opportunity in the interim. They are pausing buybacks to pay down debt. It's not a trivial amount. They spent 6.8b in 2025. The debt pay down is well underway and will accelerate in coming quarters. Net debt is down 13 billion in the first half of '26. Progress is being made quickly.
