Smith & Nephew announced that John Rogers informed the board of his intention to leave his position as Chief Financial Officer on September 30 to take up an external position in the U.S.. He will step down from the board with immediate effect and a search has been initiated for his successor, the company added. Pierre Palassian, Group Controller, will serve as interim Chief Financial Officer until a successor is appointed.
