U.S. Stock Futures Lower as Investors Focus on Economic Data

However, September's personal consumption expenditures price index rose 3.6% year over year, up from 3.4% in August, keeping inflation well above the Fed's 2% target.Earnings remain in focus, with Amazon, Intel and Starbucks set to report after the close, giving investors another look at consumer demand, corporate spending and the outlook for AI infrastructure.
