BlackSky Partners with SkyFi to Provide Satellite Imagery Services
BlackSky Technology (BKSY) is the first satellite imagery provider for SkyFi's "Satellite Intelligence", a Robinhood (HOOD) Agent App available in the coming weeks. The application integrates SkyFi's AI analytics and Earth observation data sets built from BlackSky's rapid-revisit, very high-resolution imagery into the Robinhood Agent Apps ecosystem, making defense-grade geospatial intelligence of facilities associated with major publicly traded companies accessible to retail investors.
SkyFi Partners with Robinhood to Launch Satellite Intelligence App
SkyFi has teamed up with Robinhood to introduce 'Satellite Intelligence,' a Robinhood Agent App available in the coming weeks. Upon launch, Robinhood Agents customers will be able to subscribe for monthly access to satellite insights over monitored sites associated with the top-traded stock symbols on Robinhood. Users will be able to ask their Robinhood Agents about a monitored site of interest. The agent retrieves SkyFi's most recent observation and answers with the image and analyzed data, such as the number of cars in a factory parking lot and the date it was captured. The connection runs over the Model Context Protocol, an open standard that lets an AI agent engage with an outside data source directly. SkyFi has partnered with BlackSky as the first imagery supplier for the Satellite Intelligence app.
BlackSky Technology Named Exclusive Provider of World's First AI Satellite Constellation
BlackSky Technology was named the exclusive provider of very high resolution electro-optical satellites, the world's first AI-enabled satellite constellation. The announcement was made at the International Space Summit in Paris, alongside French President Emmanuel Macron, Marlan Space and Loft Orbital. The initial constellation of fifty satellites will carry radar, optical and other sensors and is designed to serve users across France, Europe and the UAE. BlackSky Gen-3 satellites will provide very high-resolution imaging capability as part of an AI-enabled intelligence platform that delivers actionable insights and alerts in seconds.
