Surf Air Mobility Signs Agreement with Flying Zebra for OperatorOS
Surf Air Mobility has signed a definitive agreement with Flying Zebra for OperatorOS, Surf Air Mobility's SurfOS flight operations software for Part 135 operators powered by Palantir Technologies (PLTR). This contract is the company's fifth commercial OperatorOS agreement. Surf Air Mobility will earn a percentage of revenue for all Flying Zebra trips managed through the OperatorOS software. OperatorOS is designed to manage aircraft and crew scheduling, flight management, reporting, and distribution for Part 135 operators.
Surf Air Mobility Updates Airline Operations Achievements
Surf Air Mobility provided an update on the Company's recent achievements and priorities for its airline operations business, which includes Mokulele Airlines in Hawaii and Southern Airways on the U.S. mainland. Recent highlights include: Delivered SurfOS-enabled efficiency gains, including a 6% reduction in direct operating cost per block hour, a 9% reduction in fuel burn per block hour, a 9% reduction in pilot cost per block hour, and a 15% improvement in labor productivity per block hour YTD 2026; Ended the Q2 with a controllable completion factor of 98% and on-time arrivals of 88%, Grew Mokulele revenue approximately 7% year-over-year in the Q2; Deployed SurfOS flight management, crew reserve, and fuel optimization modules across the Company's airline operations; Secured a four-year Essential Air Service contract from the U.S. Department of Transportation to continue service to Lanai, representing $19.4M in subsidies; Completed an electric aircraft demonstration program in Hawaii with BETA Technologies, with support from Hawaiian Airlines. BETA's ALIA CTOL aircraft flew 64 demonstration flights across four islands to evaluate the operational, economic, and infrastructure requirements for electric aircraft in the state; Became the first Part 135 passenger operator to join the FAA-sponsored Center for Advanced Aviation Technologies Consortium, giving the Company eligibility for FAA-funded task orders and visibility into FAA research priorities.

Surf Air Mobility (SRFM) has signed a definitive agreement with Clipper Aviation for OperatorOS, Surf Air Mobility's SurfOS flight operations software for Part 135 operators powered by Palantir Technologies (PLTR). This contract is the company's fourth commercial OperatorOS agreement and will contribute to the company's goal of having five operators live on OperatorOS by the end of 2026. Surf Air Mobility will earn a percentage of revenue for all Clipper flights managed through the OperatorOS software. OperatorOS is designed to manage aircraft and crew scheduling, flight management, reporting, and distribution for Part 135 operators.
Surf Air Mobility Signs Agreement with Air Fuga
Surf Air Mobility (SRFM) announced a definitive agreement with Air Fuga, its third OperatorOS customer in less than two weeks. The Company also announced that its partnership with Palantir Technologies (PLTR) is accelerating the commercialization of OperatorOS and the development of OwnerOS. These announcements come as Barrett Brown, the former Head of Asia at Palantir, begins his role as President of SurfOS, effective today, September 30, where he will lead efforts to scale commercial deployment and grow SurfOS revenue. The definitive agreement with Air Fuga for OperatorOS continues the commercial momentum of OperatorOS, following recent announcements of contracts with Sprintbach Aviation and SkyDance Air. Surf Air Mobility will earn a percentage of revenue for all flights managed through the OperatorOS software. Barrett Brown will focus the SurfOS business's near term priorities on expanding commercial contracts and growing software revenue, maximizing Palantir's engineering and commercial resources, deploying next-generation agentic AI optimization tools on AIP and Foundry, and expanding SurfOS into new end markets and use cases. The Palantir partnership includes access to a team of Palantir's forward-deployed engineering resources and joint business development and go-to-market efforts focused on the Part 135 regional aviation segment. These resources shorten development timelines for new SurfOS products and support commercial expansion across all SurfOS software.
Surf Air Mobility Appoints Jason Secore as CFO
Surf Air Mobility announced the appointment of Jason Secore as Chief Financial Officer, effective September 30, 2026. Secore brings 18 years of finance leadership experience across aviation, aerospace, and technology companies. He has served as Chief Financial Officer of Matternet, a full-stack autonomous aviation technology company integrating aircraft, software, and operations. At Matternet, he led the global finance organization and the financing and reverse-merger transaction that took the company from a venture-backed private business to a publicly traded company. Deanna White, Chief Executive Officer of Surf Air Mobility, said: "Jason's background in capital markets and aircraft financing, combined with his aviation operating experience, gives him an in-depth, practical understanding of both Surf Air Mobility's airline operations and software businesses. We are confident he will strengthen our financial operations as we continue our path to profitability across SurfOS, our scheduled airline, and Surf On Demand private charter."
