Aeromexico and Delta Air Lines Joint Venture Antitrust Immunity Upheld by Court
Grupo Aeromexico (AERO) announced that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit ruled in favor of Aeromexico and Delta Air Lines (DAL) and vacated the U.S. Department of Transportation's order terminating approval of the Aeromexico-Delta joint venture and its antitrust immunity. As a result, the joint venture and its antitrust immunity remain in effect. Aeromexico is reviewing the Court's opinion and potential next steps with Delta and its legal advisors.
Grupo Aeromexico Reports 6.1% Year-over-Year Decrease in July Passenger Traffic
Grupo Aeromexico transported 2.16M and 2.30M passengers in July 2026 and 2025, a 6.1% year-over-year decrease. International passengers decreased by 4.0%, while domestic passengers decreased by 7.4%. Aeromexico's total capacity, measured in available seat miles or ASMs increased by 1.5% year-over-year. International ASMs increased by 0.1%, while domestic capacity decreased by 5.6% year-over-year. Demand, measured in passenger miles or RPMs, decreased by 1.9% year-over-year. International demand increased by 0.2%, while domestic demand decreased by 7.3%, vs. July 2025. Aeromexico's July 2026 load factor was 88.0%, a 0.4 p.p. decrease vs. July 2025. International load factor was flat, and domestic load factor decreased by 1.6 p.p.
Aeromexico Passenger Traffic Decreased 9% in June
Grupo Aeromexico transported 1M and 851K passengers in June 2026, a 9.0% year-over-year decrease. International passengers decreased by 1.4%, while domestic passengers decreased by 13.0%. Aeromexico's total capacity, measured in available seat miles or ASMs increased by 0.9% year-over-year. International ASMs increased by 4.9%, while domestic capacity decreased by 8.7% year-over-year. Demand, measured in passenger miles or RPMs, decreased by 2.8% year-over-year. International demand increased by 0.9%, while domestic demand decreased by 11.8%, both figures compared to June 2025. Aeromexico's June 2026 load factor was 82.7%, a 3.0 p.p. decrease as compared to June 2025. International load factor decreased by 3.1 p.p., and domestic load factor decreased by 2.9 p.p.

Grupo Aeromexico reported its May operational results. Grupo Aeromexico transported 2,102,000 passengers in May, a 2.1% year-over-year increase. International passengers increased by 4.6%, while domestic passengers increased by 0.9%. Aeromexico's total capacity, measured in available seat miles, increased by 4.7% year-over-year. International ASMs increased by 7%, while domestic capacity decreased by 0.3% year-over-year. Demand, measured in passenger miles, increased by 5.2% year-over-year. International demand increased by 6.8%, while domestic demand increased by 1.6%, both figures compared to May 2025. Aeromexico's May load factor was 85.8%.

Grupo Aeromexico reports its March 2026 operational results: Grupo Aeromexico transported 1 million and 994 thousand passengers in March 2026, a 1.4% year-over-year decrease. International passengers decreased by 0.5%, while domestic passengers decreased by 1.9%. Aeromexico's total capacity, measured in available seat miles, increased by 1.0% year-over-year. International ASMs increased by 1.9%, while domestic capacity decreased by 1.1% year-over-year. Demand, measured in passenger miles , increased by 1.7% year-over-year. International demand increased by 3.1%, while domestic demand decreased by 1.4%, both figures compared to March 2025. Aeromexico's March 2026 load factor was 83.3%, a 0.6 p.p. increase as compared to March 2025. International load factor increased by 1.0 p.p., and domestic load factor decreased by 0.2 p.p.
