SkyWest Appoints Wade Steel as President and COO
SkyWest "announced that Wade Steel has been named president and chief operating officer of SkyWest Airlines, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of SkyWest, Inc. Steel joined SkyWest leadership in 2007 and served as Vice President - Controller of SkyWest Airlines from 2011-2014. He was named Executive Vice President of SkyWest, Inc. in 2014 before becoming the Chief Commercial Officer in 2015."

SkyWest Reports Q1 Revenue of $1.01B
Reports Q1 revenue $1.01B, consensus $992.1M. Commenting on the results, Chip Childs, President and Chief Executive Officer of SkyWest, said, "Demand for our product remains solid, and we continue to re-invest in our fleet, creating long-term value for our customers, our people, and our shareholders. U.S. Equity Futures Slip, Apple Gains Narrow to 0.7%
In the opening hours of the evening session, U.S. equity futures are slipping, with S&P e-minis down 0.2% and Nasdaq 100 contract down 0.3%. In commodities, precious metals are off Thursday's lows, with Gold above $5,460 and Silver above $118 per ounce. Crude Oil is off the highs but still above $65 per barrel after a robust three-day rally.After-hours earnings season remains dominated by tech heavyweights, with more mixed news once again. Apple initially jumped 3% but those gains were pared to less than 1% following the company's earnings call.
