RXO Enters Strategic Partnership with EPG

RXO has entered into a preferred partnership with Enterprise Purchasing Group, or EPG, a group purchasing organization for logistics procurement and supply chain optimization. Through this strategic partnership, RXO becomes EPG's official FTL and LTL provider, and EPG stands alone as the only logistics GPO offering RXO's services. The partnership allows EPG members to leverage RXO's trucking capacity to secure pricing for FTL and LTL services.

RXO Updates Truckload Market Forecast, Spot Rates Rise

RXO released the latest update to its proprietary Curve truckload market forecast, which shows rising truckload spot rates, excluding the impacts of fuel. The continued surge in rates is the result of continued attrition of carrier capacity, driven by federal regulation enforcement, which has led to a supply imbalance relative to demand. "In the second quarter, truckload spot rates rose at an even faster pace than in the first quarter and consistently outpaced contract rates, which put increased strain on shippers' routing guides," said Corey Klujsza, vice president of pricing and procurement at RXO. "That trend is not only continuing but picking up steam as we head into peak season. Though we've been in a year-over-year inflationary environment for over two years, the truckload market is starting to feel materially different."

RXO announced a strategic partnership with Highway. By integrating Highway's advanced fraud prevention capabilities, RXO can verify carrier information with even greater speed and accuracy, reducing fraud risk and streamlining the approval process. As part of this initiative, RXO is introducing Highway's Load Lock+ ELD Tracking feature. This tool is designed to enhance in-transit visibility and strengthen load security by providing real-time data.
