Innovative Aerosystems Reports Q3 Revenue of $26.7M

Reports Q3 revenue $26.7M, consensus $24.31M. "Our strong third quarter results reflect continued execution against our strategic priorities and position us for a solid finish to fiscal 2026 while building momentum into fiscal 2027," stated Shahram Askarpour, President and Chief Executive Officer of Innovative Aerosystems. "Third quarter revenue increased approximately 11%, driven by strong organic growth across our commercial aerospace and business aviation markets despite elevated F-16 revenues in the last year's comparable period as a result of the transition of manufacturing into our Exton facility. Our disciplined execution, combined with a more favorable business mix and operating leverage, contributed to gross margin of 51.7% and adjusted EBITDA growth of 74.7%, demonstrating the strength and scalability of our business model. "

Innovative Aerosystems Enters Agreement with eVTOL Developer

The company states: "Innovative Aerosystems announced that it has entered into a development and purchase agreement with a leading developer of electric vertical takeoff and landing ("eVTOL") aircraft, to develop the main display and avionics architecture based on the Company's Liberty Flight Deck. Under the agreement, Innovative Aerosystems will provide the design, development, manufacturing, production, and delivery of the aircraft's main display system and supporting avionics architecture for integration into the customers eVTOL program. The collaboration combines the customers' expertise in advanced air mobility aircraft development with Innovative Aerosystems' proven experience in certified avionics, integrated flight decks, and mission-critical display technologies. Innovative Aerosystems expects early engineering work to begin in late 2026, with initial production targeted for the second half of 2027. The Company expects to achieve run-rate production during 2028 in support of the customers targeted 2028 full-scale commercial launch. The customer currently holds a total of over 400 eVTOL orders from partners. Based on current estimates, Innovative Aerosystems believes the total contract value could exceed $50 million for forward fit orders, with potential for additional aftermarket and services revenues."

Innovative Aerosystems Acquires Aydin Displays for $24.5M

Innovative Aerosystems announced that it has acquired Aydin Displays, a developer and manufacturer of rugged display technologies serving defense, industrial, and other mission-critical aerospace applications, for $24.5M in cash. Innovative Aerosystems will be funding the acquisition through a combination of cash on hand and borrowings under its existing credit facility. Aydin is expected to generate calendar 2026 revenue of approximately $16M. As part of the acquisition, the Aydin Displays name will be retained and operations will continue at the existing facility.
