Major Averages Rise as Bond Yields Slip
The major averages were broadly higher near noon as bond yields slipped after the U.S. Treasury Department announced an increased buyback operation for longer-term debt. Investors are also eyeing stabilization following recent declines led by a sharp selloff in technology and semiconductor names. The Federal Reserve's July meeting minutes are the day's main catalyst, due at 2 p.m. ET. Investors will be looking for clues about the debate within the FOMC after the central bank held rates at 3.5%-3.75% in July. The minutes could be particularly important following the weak July employment report and relatively contained inflation data, which have reduced probabilities for a more hawkish September policy tilt, although rising oil prices and longer-term Treasury yields complicate the outlook.Get caught up quickly on the top news and calls moving stocks with these five Top Five lists.1. The acquisition is expected to add institutional-grade exchange infrastructure, blockchain settlement, and foundational IP to Datavault AI; complementing a platform that takes digital and real-world assets from origination and valuation through tokenization, commercialization, and exchange. Datavault AI and NYIAX have been working together and integrating capabilities and teams since entering a licensing and marketing agreement in March 2025, a collaboration that will now deepen under full ownership. NYIAX will play a key role in implementing Datavault AI's tokenization pipeline. NYIAX's team, exchange infrastructure, patents, and blockchain settlement capabilities will enable Datavault AI to accelerate the execution of these contracts and scale.
Datavault AI Reports Q2 Revenue of $6.7M
Reports Q2 revenue $6.7M vs. $1.7M last year. "Over the past few months, we made significant progress assembling the technology, infrastructure and strategic capabilities required to bring Datavault AI's platform to market at scale," said Nathaniel Bradley, CEO. "With the NYIAX acquisition completed and the acquisition of CyberCatch under definitive agreement, the continued buildout of SanQtum and several other commercial programs underway, we believe the foundation of our platform is taking shape. Each component of our integrated technology ecosystem serves a distinct role: NYIAX is expected to provide exchange infrastructure and IP; CLEAR provides identity and credentialing; Fiserv provides payments and settlement capabilities; IBM watsonx is our AI infrastructure; Available powers our distributed edge-computing network, and CyberCatch is expected to strengthen security and compliance. These partnerships were never intended to operate independently. Together, they form an integrated ecosystem. With the core platform buildout well underway, our focus for the second half of 2026 shifts to execution: launching our exchanges, scaling SanQtum and converting our contracted opportunities into commercial activity and recognized revenue."
