TUV SUD and Accenture Collaborate to Accelerate Industrial Automation Certification
TUV SUD and Accenture are collaborating to accelerate the independent certification process for industrial automation with NVIDIA technologies. At NVIDIA GTC Berlin 2026, the companies are presenting a joint concept of a "Physical AI Safety Suite" to help companies safely deploy physical AI equipment such as Autonomous Mobile Robots alongside human workers faster. Using digital twins, AI agents and simulations, the Physical AI Safety Suite is designed to speed up the automation of factories and warehouses required to increase manufacturing productivity. Established industry standards provide the basis for ensuring that automated facilities are designed and operated safely. An example is ISO 3691-4, which specifies safety requirements for driverless industrial trucks and systems, including AMRs. In many industrial countries, certification against such norms is mandatory before companies can commission automated facilities and deploy new physical AI equipment. Even in markets where certification is voluntary, following industry-specific standards issued by recognized standards bodies is considered best practice. But navigating the intricate web of standards can slow down the adoption of physical AI-enabled automation solutions. At a medium-sized production plant, the iterative coordination, validation and acceptance of safety concepts can take several weeks.

Accenture and Google Launch Gemini Launchpads
Accenture Federal Services (ACN) and Google Public Sector (GOOG) announced the deployment of Gemini launchpads, a new capability designed to help federal agencies move more quickly from agentic experimentation to mission execution at scale. This initiative, which builds on the recent announcement of Accenture's Gemini Enterprise Business Group, provides federal agencies with a centralized hub of Forward Deployed Engineers to industrialize how they build, deploy, and scale enterprise agents. By embedding these specialized FDEs alongside agencies, the government can focus on delivering outcome-based, high-code agents built on Gemini, that integrate directly into core government systems of record and enable practitioners to execute complex workflows. By activating a Gemini launchpad, agencies can centrally manage the agent-from securely connecting Gemini to mission datasets and prioritizing agent use cases to rapid deployment and workforce training. This provides leadership with a single view to track performance, measure mission impact, and drive even more value from their investment in Gemini. To meet federal demand and accelerate this mission, Accenture Federal Services is training an initial cohort of Google Cloud- skilled FDEs. This training would be part of Accenture's recently announced commitment to establish a 1,000-person FDE workforce Accenture Gemini Enterprise Business Group. These FDEs will embed directly alongside agency teams and Accenture Federal's functional subject matter experts to bridge the gap between technology and mission. By combining advanced Google Cloud technical skills with deep federal domain expertise, these integrated teams will build Gemini agents that address real agency challenges and unlock tangible mission value.
UMass Memorial Health Partners with Accenture and Microsoft to Modernize Data Platform
UMass Memorial Health, a not-for-profit healthcare system in Central Massachusetts, announced a multi-year initiative with Accenture (ACN) and Microsoft (MSFT) to modernize its data platform, which will enhance care delivery and operations and drive AI-powered innovation.
