DHT Reports Q2 Revenue of $284.8M
Reports Q2 revenue $284.8M, consensus $238.35M. The company said, "The second quarter of 2026 was the strongest quarter in the Company's history. Net profit for the quarter amounted to $198.3 million, reflecting exceptionally strong tanker market conditions and commercial performance. Furthermore, net profit for the first six months of 2026 exceeded the Company's previous record full-year result of $266.3 million achieved in 2020, marking a new earnings milestone in DHT's history."
DHT Holdings Completes Delivery of DHT Impala
DHT Holdings announced key developments in its fleet renewal program. The company has taken delivery of DHT Impala, a VLCC newbuilding from Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries. The vessel is entering the spot market and represents the fourth and final vessel in a series of newbuildings delivering to DHT during 2026. In connection with its planned fleet renewal, DHT also confirms that DHT Bauhinia, built in 2007, was delivered to its new owners on July 20.
DHT Holdings Announces DHT Gazelle Upgrade in 2026
DHT Holdings announced that it has identified and will implement a proactive design upgrade for its two newbuildings delivering from Hyundai this year. The upgraded DHT Impala is now expected to be delivered in late July. The DHT Gazelle, delivered in March, will return to the shipyard for its upgrade in Q3 of 2026 after completing its current cargo commitments. To ensure charter continuity, the company will temporarily substitute the DHT Gazelle with the DHT Addax.
DHT Holdings Enters Agreement with Hanwha Ocean for New VLCC Construction
DHT Holdings announced it has entered into an agreement with Hanwha Ocean for the construction of a new very large crude carrier. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in August 2028. The vessel will be a sister of the two Hanwha vessels the Company took delivery of in the first quarter of 2026. It will be built to high specifications with premium earning power through advanced fuel economics, reduced emissions and large carrying capacity.

The company said, "Thus far in the second quarter of 2026, 70% of the available VLCC spot days have been booked at an average rate of $168,300 per day on a discharge-to-discharge basis. 85% of the available VLCC days, combined spot and time charter days, have been booked at an average rate of $113,500 per day. "
