Company Reports $181.6 Million Loan Production in Q2
Commenting on the Company's second quarter performance, President and Chief Executive Officer Stephen R. Stone stated, "We saw outstanding loan production2 of $181.6 million during the second quarter, driving a $78.1 million increase in loans held for investment, or 19.3% annualized. The majority of production in the second quarter continued to come from the community bank with each region, including our new Charleston team, providing meaningful contributions. We are pleased to have achieved this growth while expanding our net interest margin and maintaining low net charge-offs. We continue to see opportunities to invest in new CSB team members across our footprint particularly as a result of recent M&A activity. We are pleased with our financial results and we look forward to building upon this performance in the second half of the year."
CoastalSouth Bancshares Authorizes $15M Stock Repurchase Plan
CoastalSouth Bancshares Board of Directors authorized a stock repurchase plan, pursuant to which the Company may purchase, from time to time, up to an aggregate amount of $15M of its shares of common stock. The 2026 Repurchase Plan will become effective on May 1, 2026, and will expire on April 30, 2027, unless extended by the Board.
CEO States Core Deposits Grew by $117.9 Million in Q1 2026
Commenting on the company's results, President and Chief Executive Officer, Stephen R. Stone stated, "We started strong in 2026 by growing $117.9 million in core deposits during the first quarter. Our core deposit growth has allowed us to reduce alternative funding sources and will provide liquidity for continued loan growth. We were pleased to see core deposit growth across all of our markets. We also produced $166.7 million in loans held for investment in the first quarter and our loan pipeline continued to grow, particularly with the addition of new commercial bankers across the franchise."
CSB Reports Q4 Revenue of $22.2M, Record Net Income
Reports Q4 revenue $22.2M, two estimates $21.9M. Reports Q4: Return on average assets of 1.24%, return on average equity of 11.02%; Return on average tangible common equity1 of 11.24%, Net interest margin of 3.60%, an increase of 2 basis points from the third quarter of 2025. Commenting on the Company's results, President and Chief Executive Officer, Stephen R. Stone stated, "We are pleased to report record net income for the year of $24.9 million and pre-tax pre-provision net revenue1 ("PPNR") of $34.3 million, which is an increase of 23.6% compared to December 31, 2024. We also produced over $776.0 million in loan commitments and grew core deposits1 by over $120.7 million." Mr. Stone also announced the Company's strategic expansion into the Charleston, SC market. "This expansion builds upon the strong foundation we have established in the Lowcountry and reflects our continued investment in this dynamic region," said Stone. "CSB has assembled a locally based commercial banking team with extensive experience serving businesses throughout Charleston and the broader Lowcountry market. The team we have assembled, led by Edward Vaughan, Charleston Market President, will help us continue to drive strong loan and deposit growth."
CoastalSouth announces Q3 EPS of 54 cents, falling short of two estimates at 57 cents.
Commenting on the company's results, President and Chief Executive Officer, Stephen R. Stone stated, "Following the completion of our initial public offering on July 2, 2025, the Company continued to deliver excellent financial performance through the third quarter of 2025. Loan production continued to be robust with over $137.3 million in new commitments originated during the third quarter of 2025 while maintaining strong asset quality metrics. Given the recent acceleration of mergers and acquisition activity in our markets, we continue to focus on recruiting new bankers to expand our presence within our markets and grow new relationships."
