Vistance Networks Announces Special Cash Distribution of $1.50 per Share

Vistance Networks announced its board approved a special cash distribution of $1.50 per share, payable on November 6 to holders of record of its common stock as of the close of business on October 26. Pursuant to Nasdaq Rule 11140(b)(2), because the amount of the special cash distribution will be 25% or greater of the value of the company's common stock, the ex-dividend date will be November 9, the first business day following the payment date. The company expects to fund the special cash distribution with available cash, including proceeds from the July 1 sale of its Ruckus Networks business.

Comcast has also initiated lab testing the next generation of DOCSIS 4.0 amplifiers from Aurora Networks. The new Starline BLE Unified DOCSIS 4.0 smart amplifier supports both FDX and ESD architectures up to 1.8 GHz, the amplifier leverages existing Starline BLE housings to provide a cost-effective, drop-in upgrade path that reduces deployment costs, installation time and network disruption.
