Rodgers, CEO of SunPower, said, "Our ASP for a residential solar job is about $32 thousand, but our high-tech Silicon Valley installations average $44 thousand with some commercial installations running well over $1 million. Bigger is better on the bottom line."
SunPower Raises $26.2 Million in Private Placement
SunPower announced it has raised $26.2 million in an equity private placement round, which was funded mainly by investors from Sand Hill Road, the "Wall Street" of Silicon Valley at the northern boundary of Palo Alto and Stanford University. The round was anchored by Foris Ventures, the family office of John Doerr, Chairman of venture firm Kleiner-Perkins.
