Idaho Strategic Resources Identifies Significant Rare Earth Mineralization at Diamond Creek Project
Idaho Strategic Resources announces that it has identified significant heavy rare earth elements mineralization, including the increasingly important element yttrium, at its Diamond Creek project. Idaho Strategic's President and CEO, John Swallow commented, "Our interest in additional Diamond Creek exploration is the result of an increasing number of conversations with global end-users who lack a reliable ex-China source of heavy rare earth elements and yttrium. While these groups have always been around, it is only lately that conversations have been driven more by their need for supply chain resiliency rather than financial preferences/sensitivities. In the grand scheme of things, heavy rare earths and yttrium typically are not a huge cost driver of the finished goods that they are a part of, making the potential for a small-scale domestic operation appealing to a price-insensitive customer. While still early-stage and requiring further test work, IDR's results across its Idaho REE-Th Belt holdings underscore the strategic potential of Idaho's REE endowment to meet the growing demand for heavy rare earths and yttrium, reducing geopolitical exposure in critical technologies."
Idaho Strategic Resources Project Selected for DOE Funding
Idaho Strategic Resources announces that one of its participating project proposals submitted to the Department of Energy, DOE, under Funding Opportunity 3105: Critical Material Innovation, Efficiency, and Alternatives was selected for funding. The announcement by the U.S. Department of Energy on May 19th is a "welcomed achievement" following the initial proposal submission in December of 2023. This project brings together key Idaho stakeholders to advance the exploration and extraction of Idaho-sourced rare earth elements for potential commercialization of rare earth metals
Company Reports Q1 Revenue of $14.48M, Up 98.5% Year-over-Year
Reports Q1 revenue $14.48M vs. $7.28M last year. Reports ounces produced up 11.52% year-over-year to 3,234 from 2,900 last year. CEO John Swallow stated, "Our goal for the year was to build on a strong 2025 - and as evidenced in our record first quarter results, the team has met these expectations. From increased production to expanded exploration and drilling programs, our business plan is working as designed. In addition to the two drills dedicated to resource conversion and exploration drilling at the Golden Chest, permitting is in place for drill programs this year at two projects in the Murray Gold Belt and at two of our REE prospects near Salmon. We are one of the few junior mining companies that put a mine into production when our industry was out of favor so that we could take advantage of opportunities when the tailwinds arrived. To that end, we followed up our acquisition of Hecla's Toboggan landholdings in Q3 2025 with the execution of a long-term lease agreement on the nearby Niagara project during Q1 2026, adding potentially significant copper-silver exposure to the company. Both of these additions were essential to consolidating the Murray Gold Belt District and provide the company with high-quality exploration targets that will last many years into the future."
Idaho Strategic Resources Releases Soil Sampling Results for Rare Earth Project
The company stated yesterday: "Idaho Strategic Resources is pleased to release the results from its widespread soil sampling and radiometrics surveys covering key prospects within the Idaho portion of its Lemhi Pass rare earth elements project. With respect to Idaho Strategic's Lemhi Pass project, the Company's goal during the 2025 geology field season was to build on our high-potential rare earth prospects by collecting both soil geochemistry and radiometric data to aid in advancing exploration, permitting, and drill targeting efforts. The soils geochemistry and radiometrics have defined wide elongated zones of neodymium (Nd) enrichment and radiometric highs. The next step will be boots on the ground geological mapping to refine this broad data into targets for economic evaluation, including permitting for drill targets both at Lemhi Pass and Mineral Hill. The Company plans to expand the soils groundwork and radiometrics footprint in 2026 to evaluate additional areas of its large Lemhi Pass land package on both sides of the Idaho-Montana border. The two images included in this release are two different scales of LiDAR maps covering a portion of the Idaho side of the Company's Lemhi Pass project. The first figure shows several "bullseye" targets of Nd in soils; and the second figure shows the total thorium levels enriched along structural corridors of the Lemhi Pass and Dan Patch faults. Prospects identified by the Company warranting follow-up exploration and potential drilling in 2026 are those where high neodymium-in-soil anomalies occur along with high ground-based radiometric signatures. The neodymium-in-soil anomalies are shown by the warm colors and range between 45 ppm to an uncapped maximum sample grade of 1,740 ppm neodymium. While Idaho Strategic has identified several promising prospects by name in the images above, the Company also plans to conduct a drone-based magnetics survey in the spring of 2026. Recent field work has shown disseminated magnetite haloing portions of REE/Th mineralization, leading the Company's geologists to believe that the planned magnetics survey will add another valuable layer of data to further prioritize 2026 permitting and drill targeting efforts."
Idaho Strategic announces Q3 EPS of 20 cents, up from 12 cents a year ago.
Reports Q3 revenue $11.1M vs. $6.2M last year. Idaho Strategic's President and CEO, John Swallow, stated, "I challenged our team in more ways than one this year at IDR. We are on track to deliver our highest level of production and drill the most meters in company history; all while constructing a new flotation mill, a paste backfill system, and a new warehouse/dry building utilizing our own labor wherever possible to reduce contractor overhead while sticking to a tight timeline. The vast majority of our team at Idaho Strategic shares a collective vision for the Company. There is an underlying belief that we are building something special and I am consistently impressed with the enthusiasm, creativity and desire to push even harder. As announced in our recent Paymaster drill results press release, the investment in gold exploration is yielding great results and remains open to further resource expansion through additional surface and underground drilling. With both surface and underground drills turning at the Golden Chest, priority for core logging is being given to holes drilled near existing mine infrastructure (for obvious reasons). We now have 7 geologists on staff, and in addition to advancing a few other early-stage ideas, I am eager to process the core drilled in the broader Murray Gold Belt District and initiate exploration on the recently acquired Toboggan property, as we look to next year. Anchored by the Golden Chest Mine and new centrally located Murray Milling facility, these collective efforts will begin to provide us with a comprehensive look at the potential of our district-scale land package of over 20,000 acres of patented and un-patented holdings."
