Nasdaq Futures Rebound as Tech Stocks Recover

Nasdaq futures are rebounding as technology shares recover from last week's steep selloff and investors prepare for a busy stretch of third quarter earnings. The rebound follows the Nasdaq and S&P 500 posting their biggest weekly declines since late June, as concerns about elevated borrowing costs and the debt needed to finance AI infrastructure weighed on technology stocks. Investors are looking for evidence that massive AI investments are translating into stronger revenue and profits, with Meta Platforms, Tesla, Lam Research and Texas Instruments among the companies reporting this week.Oil prices are retreating from five-month highs, with Brent crude down about 1.3% to $108.40 a barrel and West Texas Intermediate near $101.15, following the U.S. decision to ease some sanctions on Russian oil.Beyond earnings, investors are monitoring the economic calendar for signals on the health of the housing market, consumer demand and inflation expectations. Housing-market data is due this week, followed by weekly jobless claims Thursday and preliminary manufacturing and services PMI readings and the University of Michigan's consumer sentiment survey Friday. The Federal Reserve is in its blackout period ahead of its next policy meeting, limiting opportunities for fresh guidance from policymakers. In pre-market trading, S&P 500 futures rose 0.43%, Nasdaq futures rose 1.20% and Dow futures fell 0.22%.Check out this morning's top movers from around Wall Street, compiled by The Fly.HIGHER -Disc Medicineup 40% after reporting its APOLLO trial of bitopertin in erythropoietic protoporphyri met all its primary and secondary endpointsEquipmentShareup 8% after raising its FY26 revenue view citing strong customer demand and high utilization of its fleetRed Catup 7% after announcing a proposed voluntary public purchase offer to acquire all outstanding shares of Steyr Motors for EUR 39.00 per share in cashIntelup 4% after JPMorgan upgraded the stock to Neutral with an unchanged price target of $85Xanadu Quantumup 3% after receiving provisional approval for project funding worth up to $10M under DARPA's Quantum Benchmarking InitiativeUP AFTER EARNINGS -Cleveland-Cliffsup 13%GlassHouseup 2%DOWN AFTER EARNINGS -Nyxoahdown 9%Fifth Thirddown 1%LOWER -EyePointdown 81% after reporting Duravyu did not achieve the primary endpoint of statistical non-inferiority in mean change in best corrected visual acuity in its LUCIA trial

Glass House Reports Record Biomass Production of 317,000 Pounds in Q3

Record biomass production of approximately 317,000 pounds, up from 246,000 pounds in the second quarter of 2026. "Our third quarter results reflect record sales and record biomass production, along with selling through a trim-heavy mix and the challenging pricing in the California cannabis market," said Kyle Kazan, co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Glass House. "While seasonally lower pricing and the trim-heavy sales mix from Q2 production pressured margin during the quarter, higher volume kept gross profit close to what we reported for the second quarter. We are pleased with our progress and ongoing operational improvements. Furthermore, we believe we are sufficiently capitalized to optimize the farms and become cash flow positive, so future improvements can be funded from cash flow. To that end, we turned off the ATM. For the full year 2026, Glass House sold approximately 5 million shares, raised $46 million in gross proceeds at an average share price of $8.41 via the ATM. This has funded Greenhouse 2 expansion and is funding optimization through capital improvement projects of Greenhouse 5 and Greenhouse 6, and the Camarillo farm in general. We have approximately $39 million to finish funding improvement projects and reach cash-flow positive. Our long-term prospects have not changed, and we continue to expect we will produce approximately 1 million pounds of biomass this year and ultimately reach our $95 cost of production target. Our team is uniquely experienced in both optimizing our farms and continuing to work within the ever-changing and often challenging California cannabis market. Some of the team has been with us since we acquired our very first farm over 10 years ago, and many more have been with us since before we went public and acquired the Camarillo facility. While there is a dearth of experienced cannabis operators who have enjoyed success in California, we are fortunate to have that institutional knowledge and experience within Glass House."

Glass House Sets FY26 Production Cost Target at $95

Backs FY26 cost of production target $95. The company expects fourth quarter cost of production to be in line with the third quarter. "We still have work to do, but I am very proud of the operations team for the progress they made during this quarter," said Graham Farrar, co-founder, president, and chief cannabis officer of Glass House. "We harvested a record number of square feet, grew a record amount of flower, and improved our share of flower and smalls meaningfully from Q2. The team did this while continuing to reduce costs, from $175 to $110, a more than 37% reduction since Q1, and, with GACP certification, laying the groundwork to export out of California, which remains our top priority given the opportunity to transform results and improve cash generation."
