CEO Confirms 2026 Adjusted EPS Target of $4.14 to $4.34
"Financial results were solid despite mild weather in the first quarter, and we remain on track to achieve our 2026 adjusted EPS guidance of $4.14 to $4.34," said CEO Campbell. "We are also reaffirming our long-term adjusted EPS annual growth target of 6% to 8%+ through 2030 off the 2026 midpoint, with the expectation that annual EPS growth will exceed 8% beginning in 2028 and through 2030."
Kansas Central Power Signs Electric Service Agreement for Large Customer Project
"We continued to advance our large customer strategy in the first quarter and are pleased to announce the signing of an electric service agreement for a large customer project in our Kansas Central service territory," said David Campbell, chairman and chief executive officer. "Beginning in 2027, the customer will take service under our large load power service (LLPS) tariff, the framework under which new large customers will pay a premium rate that covers their fair share of existing and new system costs to drive affordability benefits for existing customers and enhance economic growth."
Evergy Achieves Strong Reliability Progress in 2025
"We made significant progress in 2025 in achieving our strongest reliability year since the formation of Evergy, advancing constructive regulatory outcomes, and capitalizing on historic economic development opportunities that will provide growth and affordability benefits for our customers," said David Campbell, chairman and chief executive officer. "Critically, in the fourth quarter we received approval of new large load power service tariffs in both Kansas and Missouri. These tariffs establish the framework under which new large customers will pay a premium rate to locate in our service territories while paying their fair share of existing and new system costs. This in turn will drive affordability benefits for existing customers and enhance economic growth in Kansas and Missouri.

"While I'd like to thank our entire employee base for cost and mitigation actions, we were unable to offset the impact of weather and demand headwinds that negatively impacted our full-year 2025 results. As we look ahead, our fundamental long-term outlook is very strong, bolstered by the recent signing of electric service agreements with two new large customer projects, and the expansion of two existing projects, all under the LLPS framework. We are initiating 2026 adjusted EPS guidance of $4.14 to $4.34 and establishing a long-term growth target of 6% to 8%+. Beginning in 2028, we expect adjusted EPS growth to exceed 8%."
