Alvotech Enters Strategic Licensing Agreement with Lotus
Alvotech announced a strategic licensing and commercialization agreement with Lotus Pharmaceutical covering two of Alvotech's candidates in the United States and selected Asian markets: AVT34, a proposed biosimilar to Imfinzi, and AVT87, a proposed biosimilar to Hemlibra. Imfinzi is an oncology biologic used in the treatment of multiple cancers, which generated global sales of approximately $6.1B in 2025. Hemlibra is a biologic for routine prophylaxis to prevent or reduce the frequency of bleeding episodes in patients with hemophilia A that generated global sales of approximately $5.8B in 2025. Under a semi-exclusive agreement in the United States, Alvotech retains the right to commercialize both products directly alongside Lotus, while Lotus will commercialize the products through Alvogen, its U.S.-based wholly owned subsidiary. Alvotech will retain responsibility for product development, and for obtaining and maintaining marketing authorizations in the United States, and will serve as the exclusive supplier of the products for all markets. The agreement has a potential value to Alvotech of up to approximately $150M in upfront and milestone payments, in addition to ongoing revenues from the supply of commercial product.

Alvotech Terminates Sales Agreement with Jefferies
On June 15, Alvotech (ALVO) notified Jefferies (JEF) that it was suspending its use of and terminating the prospectus supplement related to the potential issuance from time to time of the company's ordinary shares pursuant to the Open Market Sale Agreement dated June 14, 2024, by and between the company and Jefferies. The company will not make any sales of its securities pursuant to the Sales Agreement unless and until a new prospectus supplement or a new registration statement is filed. Other than the termination of the ATM Prospectus Supplement, the Sales Agreement remains in full force and effect.
Alvotech Resubmits Biologics License Applications for AVT05 and AVT06 to FDA
Alvotech (ALVO) announced the resubmission to the FDA of biologics license applications, or BLAs, for AVT05, a proposed biosimilar to Simponi and Simponi Aria, and AVT06, a proposed biosimilar to Eylea 2 mg. Under a partnership with Teva (TEVA), Alvotech is responsible for the development and manufacturing of AVT05 and AVT06, while Teva is responsible for commercialization. The resubmissions follow the submission of Alvotech's response to the FDA's post-application action letter, or PAAL, related to the company's Reykjavik manufacturing facility. In addition, the company has submitted responses to observations from a routine cGMP surveillance FDA inspection at the facility, completed in May. The company expects the FDA to conduct a six-month review of the resubmitted applications, consistent with the applicable regulatory timelines. AVT03, Alvotech's proposed biosimilar to Prolia and Xgeva, is partnered with Dr. Reddy's (RDY) which, as applicant, is responsible for the U.S. regulatory submission.
