Gallagher Q3 Revenue at $3.98B, Below Expectations

Reports Q3 revenue $3.98B, consensus $4B. "We delivered another excellent quarter!" said J. Patrick Gallagher, Jr., Chairman and CEO. "Our combined Brokerage and Risk Management segments delivered revenue growth of 18%, including organic growth of 5%. Net earnings grew 25%, and adjusted EBITDAC also grew 25%, marking our 26th consecutive quarter of double-digit adjusted EBITDAC growth, together with another quarter of margin expansion. Strong client retention, excellent new business and continued growth in our clients' businesses, together with our continued success growing through acquisitions, demonstrate the strength of our two-pronged growth strategy and the diversity of our business.

Arthur J. Gallagher Acquires Mund Group

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced the acquisition of New Braunfels, Texas-based Mund Group. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The Mund Group is an employee benefits agency that provides benefits consulting and health and welfare program solutions to businesses in Texas. Jeff Mund, Brandon Mund, Kristopher Mund and their team will remain in their current location under the direction of Leah Vetter, head of Gallagher's Central region employee benefits consulting operations.

Arthur J. Gallagher Acquires Intelligent Communications Experiences

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced the acquisition of Melbourne, Victoria-based Intelligent Communications Experiences. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Intelligent Communications Experiences helps businesses in Australia develop and deliver digital employee communications. The Intelligent Communications Experiences team, led by Chris Cansfield, Steve Mann, Glyn Wallens and Kevin McDougall, will operate under the direction of Graham Campbell, head of Gallagher's employee benefits and HR consulting operations in Australia and New Zealand.
