Gallagher Reports Q2 Revenue of $4B, Below Expectations

Reports Q2 revenue $4B, consensus $4.04B. "We delivered an excellent second quarter!" said J. Patrick Gallagher, Jr., Chairman and CEO. "Our combined Brokerage and Risk Management segments delivered revenue growth of 24%, including organic growth of 6%. Arthur J. Gallagher Acquires W.N. Tuscano Agency

Arthur J. Gallagher's U.S. wholesale brokerage, binding authority and programs division, Risk Placement Services, has acquired Greensburg, Pennsylvania-based W.N. Tuscano Agency. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Tuscano is a managing general agency and wholesale insurance broker for independent agents in western Pennsylvania. The Tuscano team, led by Robin Tuscano, will remain in their current location under the direction of Steve Levin, Northeast Region leader for RPS.

Arthur J. Gallagher Acquires Med James, Inc.

Arthur J. Gallagher's U.S. wholesale brokerage, binding authority and programs division, Risk Placement Services, has acquired Overland Park, Kansas-based Med James, Inc. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Med James is a managing general agency and wholesale insurance broker serving retail agents. Pam Donahue and the Med James team will remain in their current location under the direction of Jacey Norberg, VP-North Central Region for RPS.
