H&R Block Rises 16.2% After Earnings
Futures are marginally higher in the opening hours of the evening session with S&P e-minis and NASDAQ 100 contracts, both up by about a decimal. The AI trade has been in a bit of a stasis, with the Technology sector once again eclipsed by the relative safety of Utilities and Energy on Tuesday - the top-performing sectors in the benchmark. Before that report however, investors will have a chance to react to a key macro input - monthly CPI inflation data due out Wednesday morning. Recall that core annualized CPI for June reported last month at 2.6% was a three-month low, that month was also marked by a sharp retreat of the geopolitical premium in the oil markets, which had then reversed course in July as US-Iran tensions reignited.Check out this evening's top movers from around Wall Street, compiled by The Fly.HIGHER AFTER EARNINGS -H&R Blockup 16.2%CoreWeaveup 13.8%CAVA Groupup 12.7%Super Micro Computerup 6.4%Lumentumup 1.1%DOWN AFTER EARNINGS -United States Antimonydown 11.4%Abscidown 10.8%ALSO LOWER -Savers Value Villagedown 13.1% after equity offering

These results have the potential to demonstrate ABS-201's regenerative mechanism and change the treatment paradigm for the millions of people living with pattern hair loss. And this is just the beginning for our prolactin receptor franchise within our overall proprietary pipeline, with endometriosis expansion ahead."
Major Averages Mixed as Tech Stocks Face Pressure
The major averages had a mixed finish as markets tried to rebound from the sharp technology-led selloff over the prior two sessions. Semiconductor stocks have been at the center of the pressure, with investors reassessing valuations after an extended run higher. Meanwhile, oil prices continue to drop amid optimism over developments in the Middle East.Investors are closely watching earnings from memory-chip maker Micron, which could become an important read-through for broader AI infrastructure spending. Recent weakness in chip shares has revived concerns about whether massive spending on AI data centers and hardware can continue at the same pace.Get caught up quickly on the top news and calls moving stocks with these five Top Five lists.1. Absci Reports Positive Phase 1 Data for ABS-201
Absci reported positive interim Phase 1 data from its first-in-human trial of ABS-201, an investigational anti-prolactin receptor, or PRLR, antibody. The ABS-201 Phase 1 trial is an ongoing, first-in-human, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study designed to evaluate the safety and pharmacokinetics, or PK, of ABS-201 in healthy volunteers with and without androgenetic alopecia, or AGA. These data comprise 32 healthy adult participants enrolled into four planned single ascending dose, or SAD, cohorts. Dose levels evaluated were 150 mg, 450 mg, 900 mg and 1800 mg administered intravenously, or IV. Interim blinded safety data from these cohorts as of the June 8, 2026 data cutoff are summarized below. Following review of blinded SAD safety and PK data by the trial's Safety Review Committee, the study has advanced into the subcutaneous multiple ascending dose, or MAD, portion in participants with AGA. Safety: Blinded, aggregate interim data suggest study drug was well tolerated and exhibited a favorable safety and tolerability profile. No serious adverse events were reported as of the data cutoff date. All treatment-emergent adverse events were mild in severity except for a single moderate TEAE in SAD cohort 3, which was assessed as unlikely related to study treatment. Treatment-related TEAEs were reported in 5 participants and were all mild. The most frequently reported TEAE across cohorts was headache. Immunogenicity: No apparent impact of anti-drug antibodies, or ADAs, on PK was observed based on interim data in the SAD cohorts. ABS-201 represents a novel therapeutic approach targeting prolactin receptors to stimulate hair follicle regeneration and promote durable hair regrowth as demonstrated in in vivo studies. In preclinical studies, the antibody demonstrated statistically significant superior hair regrowth compared to minoxidil in a preclinical mouse model. Absci anticipates interim proof-of-concept data from its ongoing HEADLINE study in the second half of 2026, with full proof-of-concept data in early 2027.
