Citi Reiterates Buy Rating on Zillow, Price Target $52
Citi notes that the FTC and five states announced that their litigation against Zillow's (ZG) partnership with Rocket Companies' (RKT) Redfin has been resolved and allows Zillow and Redfin to maintain their existing rentals syndication agreement through at least June 30, 2030. The resolution maintaining the syndication agreement removes a key overhang on Zillow as the company expands its rental listings supply, says the analyst, who reiterates a Buy rating and $52 price target on the shares.
Zillow Reaches Agreement with FTC, Continues Partnership with Redfin
Zillow Group announced a resolution with the Federal Trade Commission, or FTC, and five states regarding its multifamily rental listings syndication agreement with Redfin. Zillow has consistently maintained the partnership with Redfin is pro-consumer and procompetitive, and we're pleased to have found a resolution that enables its continuation. The partnership will continue, and the listings syndication will remain intact across Zillow, Trulia, HotPads, Rent.com, ApartmentGuide and Redfin. In 2027, Zillow and Redfin will offer standalone multifamily advertising products in addition to the existing partnership - giving housing providers even more flexibility in how they work with Zillow.
