Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises Shares Up 39.5%
Equity futures are little changed in the opening hour of the evening session as narrow trading ranges established late last week persisted on Monday. Traders continue to balance the narrative of clouded visibility regarding the prospects of a sustainable U.S.-Iran war resolution and the ability of broader indices to offset the increasingly vulnerable rally in Semiconductors with strength in other areas. Infrastructure and SaaS names balanced out the weakness in Semis - including Nvidia's3% drop - on Monday. Energy and Healthcare have also traded higher, while Tech, Utilities, and Real Estate lagged in the S&P 500.Fixed income markets continue to command plenty of attention heading into this Wednesday's key CPI data. The brief retreat in Treasury yields following the soft employment report on Friday was briskly reversed on Monday due to oil price spillover concerns on broader inflation, with the 10-year now pushing back to the 4.7% level. Probabilities implied by the swaps market have also reset the dial for expectations of a 25 basis point hike at the next FOMC meeting in September back above 50%.Check out this evening's top movers from around Wall Street, compiled by The Fly.HIGHER AFTER EARNINGS -Babcock & Wilcox Enterprisesup 39.5%NIQ Global Intelligenceup 17.4%Riot Platformsup 10.9%Alconup 5.9%ALSO HIGHER -Fermiup 20.4% after announcing TensorWave lease agreementEverpureup 7.3% after announcing a hyperscaler design winDOWN AFTER EARNINGS -Life360down 28.2%Upworkdown 19.3%USA Rare Earthdown 9.4%Hims & Hers Healthdown 6.5%Rocket Labdown 6.4%GoProdown 5.4%
USA Rare Earth Q2 Revenue $5.82M, Below Consensus
Reports Q2 revenue $5.82M, consensus $8.05M. "The second quarter of 2026 marked a period of decisive progress for USA Rare Earth, defined by the milestones that bring our integrated global rare earth value chain to life," said Barbara Humpton, CEO of USA Rare Earth. "We announced our intent to acquire Serra Verde, the only scaled producer of all four magnetic rare earths outside Asia; signed definitive documentation for our funding package with the U.S. Department of Commerce; announced our intent to invest in Carester; and selected Blacksburg, South Carolina, as the site of our second U.S. metal-making and magnet manufacturing facility. We also commissioned our hydrometallurgical facility in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, a critical step that demonstrates our processing capability that lies at the heart of a secure, non-China supply chain."

Company Expects 600 MTPA Magnet Manufacturing Capacity by Q4 2026
This DFS is expected to be completed in Q4 2026 and published in Q1 2027, and is expected to provide the balance of commercial engineering and design and definitive project economics. Also in 2026, the company expects to: Reach 600 MTPA of run-rate magnet manufacturing capacity at the Stillwater Facility in Q4 2026: This manufacturing capacity build out is expected to support the Company's growing pipeline of magnet customers across the aerospace, defense, semiconductor, industrial motor, heavy equipment, mobility, healthcare, and energy sectors. Evaluate metal making and alloy capacity at LCM to optimize for customer demand across rare earth and critical mineral metals and alloys, and geographic footprint distribution: This capacity build out is expected to support the Company's internal metal and alloy needs for magnet manufacturing, as well as a growing pipeline of third-party rare earth and critical mineral metal and alloy demand.
USA Rare Earth Acquires 13.6% Stake in Carester
USA Rare Earth announced that it has entered into definitive agreements to acquire strategic minority stakes representing approximately 13.6% each in Carester, a French leader in rare earth processing and separation. InfraVia, acting through its Critical Metals Fund, seeded by the French State as an anchor investor alongside private institutional capital, is acquiring a similar stake in Carester alongside USA Rare Earth. The agreements finalize the strategic investment and commercial framework the parties announced in April. In addition to targeting healthy returns, USA Rare Earth and its subsidiary Less Common Metals Europe will have the ability to purchase a portion of Carester's oxide output from its Caremag facility. USA Rare Earth will have access to Carester's engineering capabilities and related intellectual property for separation, processing, and recycling. In turn, Carester will have access to USA Rare Earth feedstock sources, including Serra Verde and the Round Top deposit in Texas. Founded in 2019, Carester is a French specialist in rare earth processing and separation technologies, with decades of technical expertise across the value chain from raw material sourcing through high-purity rare earth oxides. Carester is currently building its Caremag magnet recycling and heavy rare earth separation facility in Lacq, France, scheduled for commissioning in late 2026 with an anticipated annual production when fully ramped of 800 tons per annum of neodymium-praseodymium oxide, 500 tpa of dysprosium oxide and 100 tpa of terbium oxide. The facility's Dy and Tb oxide production is expected to represent approximately 15% of current world production of these magnetic heavy rare earth oxides. Proceeds will primarily fund Carester's next phase of growth, including expansion of its rare earth processing and separation platform, research and development, and working capital. As a condition to completion of the strategic investment, a portion of the joint investment will fund the acquisition of minority shareholders' interest, resulting in their full exit. Funding is expected in the third quarter of 2026, subject to remaining customary conditions. The investment is part of a broader partnership between USA Rare Earth, LCM Europe, and Carester to build an integrated rare earth industrial platform in Lacq, France, spanning processing, separation, metal and alloy production, and potentially magnet manufacturing. In parallel, USA Rare Earth, through LCM Europe, is developing a 3,750 mtpa metal and alloy production facility at the same location. Together, these projects are intended to form one of Europe's most complete rare earth industrial ecosystems and to advance a secure, Western-aligned value chain across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe.
