UL Solutions announced it has expanded capabilities at its site in Lombardy, Italy, to create the European Retail Center of Excellence, "giving retailers, brands and manufacturers access to a broader portfolio of services designed for a technology-enabled and rapidly innovating consumer retail environment," the company said.

UL Solutions Issues Safety Warning for Zinshine Water Based Fire Extinguishers
UL Solutions issued a public notice regarding Zinshine Water Based Fire Extinguishers, which bear unauthorized UL Certification Marks for the United States and Canada and may pose safety risks. The affected products have not been evaluated by UL Solutions against the appropriate safety standards, and it is unknown whether they meet any safety requirements. UL Solutions recommends that these fire extinguishers be immediately removed from service. The affected products include Zinshine Water Based Fire Extinguishers that bear an unauthorized UL Certification Mark for the United States and Canada - cULus - and are labeled: LISTED; ZINSHINE; Water Based Fire Extinguisher; Model Number: ZEF600; VOL: 600ml. The products were sold on Amazon.com and may have been available on other e-commerce sites.
