Dubai's VARA Signs MoU with Securitize
Dubai's Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, VARA and Securitize announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, to support the continued advancement of tokenization and digital asset infrastructure across the Emirate of Dubai. VARA and Securitize will work together to advance innovation in tokenization. Under the MoU, VARA and Securitize will explore opportunities to support tokenization initiatives within Dubai, including projects initiated or facilitated by VARA and the broader virtual asset ecosystem. The collaboration also includes initiatives focused on ecosystem development, talent attraction, market education, data-driven research, and the evolution of tokenized financial products operating within Dubai's regulatory framework.
Securitize and Socios.com Announce Strategic Partnership
Securitize and Socios.com announced a strategic partnership to develop regulated tokenized equity offerings involving minority interests in professional sports teams. "Professional sports teams represent a significant asset class that has remained largely private and difficult to access," said Carlos Domingo, Co-Founder and CEO of Securitize. "Securitize's regulated infrastructure in the United States and Europe can provide teams and their owners with a new way to issue and administer equity while preserving the investor protections and ownership rights that should come with a regulated security."

Currenc Capital Enters Strategic Partnership with Securitize
Currenc Capital, a wholly owned subsidiary of Currenc Group (CURR), announced they have entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Securitize (SECZ), the leading platform for tokenized assets. Under the agreement, Currenc Capital and Securitize will work with select listed companies evaluating issuer-sponsored tokenization, an approach in which the issuer itself authorizes and sponsors the on-chain representation of its shares, preserving the rights of the underlying security. As the subsidiary of a tokenized public company whose shares have already been brought on-chain, Currenc Capital will contribute the experience of its management team, together with its parent company's relationships across global capital markets. Securitize, through its applicable regulated affiliates, may provide participating issuers with tokenization and related capital-markets infrastructure. The collaboration builds on the tokenization of Currenc's ordinary shares on Ethereum and Solana in April, which made Currenc one of the first Nasdaq-listed companies to support on-chain ownership of its equity. Issuer-sponsored tokenization may allow public companies to modernize how ownership is recorded and administered while establishing infrastructure that can support additional on-chain functionality, such as 24/7 market access, programmable settlement and new forms of shareholder engagement, over time.
