Boston Beer CFO Diego Reynoso Resigns
Boston Beer announced that CFO Diego Reynoso will be leaving the company on September 14 to accept a new opportunity. Matt Murphy, currently chief accounting officer, has been appointed interim CFO and treasurer effective September 15. The company has initiated a search to identify its next CFO and will consider both internal and external candidates.
Company Appoints Matthew D. Murphy as Interim CFO
On August 17, 2026, Diego Reynoso informed the Company that he was stepping down as the Company's Treasurer and CFO. His departure from the Company is not related to any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to its operations, policies, or practices. On August 20, 2026, the Company's Board of Directors approved the appointment of Matthew D. Murphy to serve as interim Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer, effective September 15, 2026, and until such time as the Company appoints Mr. Reynoso's permanent successor. Mr. Murphy is currently the Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President of Finance of the Company. He has held the titles of Chief Accounting Officer since 2015 and Vice President of Finance since 2023. He also previously held the position of Interim Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer from March 2023 to September 2023. Prior to his current role, he was the Company's Corporate Controller from September 2006 to August 2015.
Ingredion Appoints Diego Reynoso as CFO
Ingredion (INGR) announced the appointment of Diego Reynoso as chief financial officer effective October 1. He will serve as a member of the executive leadership team and report to Jim Zallie, chairman, president and chief executive officer. Reynoso joins Ingredion from the Boston Beer (SAM) where he served as chief financial officer leading finance, investor relations, IT, M&A and enterprise strategy initiatives.

Reports Q2 revenue $607.8M, consensus $567.45M. Reports depletions decreased 6% and shipments decreased 4.5%. "We are highly focused on marketplace execution for the remainder of the summer selling season and improving market share trends. Our strong cash flow generation and healthy balance sheet provide flexibility to support our strategic priorities and drive long-term value."
Company Reaffirms 2026 Shipment Outlook
Reaffirms 2026 depletions and shipments view of down low-single digits to mid-single digits. The company said, "The Company has updated its financial guidance for the full year 2026. The Company's actual 2026 results could vary significantly from the current projection and are highly sensitive to changes in volume projections, supply chain performance, inflationary and commodity impacts and tariff policy. Tariff cost projections below are consistent with tariffs currently being charged by the Company's suppliers and that the Company currently expects to continue for the remainder of 2026. "
