Ouster Partners with John Deere Subsidiary for Lidar Integration
Ouster (OUST) announced that GUSS Automation, a wholly owned John Deere (DE) Subsidiary, plans to incorporate Ouster's Rev8 OS0 native color digital lidar sensors, powered by the L4 Ouster Silicon, into the next generation of its Autonomous Orchard Machine Fleet. "The integration is expected to further expand machine capabilities while underscoring the role of advanced sensing technologies in helping autonomous agricultural machines operate in complex outdoor environments," the company said.
Ouster Signs Expansion Contract with Utah Department of Transportation
Ouster announced that Econolite, a company in mobility operating systems, was awarded an expansion contract from Utah Department of Transportation to deploy Ouster BlueCity, a complete lidar traffic management solution for actuation, alerts, and analytics, at an additional 160 intersections statewide. With the first Ouster BlueCity with integrated Rev8 installation already live in Utah, this expanded deployment marks a major technological leap for the state through the integration of Ouster's OS1 Max Rev8 digital lidar sensor.
