Ouster Launches ZED Box 2 Max Industrial Edge AI Computer
Stereolabs, an Ouster (OUST) company, introduced the ZED Box 2 Series, a new generation of industrial edge AI computers engineered for autonomous mobile robots, robot vision, and spatial AI systems requiring high-throughput multi-camera perception and edge processing. ZED Box 2 Max takes vision AI computing to the next level. Powered by NVIDIA (NVDA) Jetson Thor with up to 2,070 FP4 TFLOPS and 128 GB of memory, ZED Box 2 Max is built to run generative AI, vision-language-action models and multi-sensor fusion directly on the robot.
Ouster and Forterra Complete 1,426 Missions Together
Ouster and Forterra announced that Forterra's Lancer autonomous ground vehicles have completed 1,426 missions and 88 casualty evacuation operations in Ukraine including Ouster Rev7 OS1 digital lidar at the core of their sensor fusion perception stack. Forterra built and delivered 105 Lancers in under six months, and across more than 7,300 miles they have run routes that would otherwise have put a crew inside the vehicle.
AVerMedia and Stereolabs Support NVIDIA JetPack 7.2
AVerMedia Technologies and Stereolabs announced NVIDIA JetPack 7.2 support across all Stereolabs ZED X GMSL cameras and AVerMedia's NVIDIA Jetson carrier boards, offering robotics and edge AI developers a faster and more efficient path from development to production.The collaboration combines AVerMedia's NVIDIA Jetson carrier-board and Board Support Package engineering expertise with Stereolabs' unified ZED X driver architecture. With this approach, AVerMedia can adapt the hardware-specific device tree and generate drivers for the JetPack and Jetson Linux versions required by customers, reducing the repeated exchanges previously required for each hardware or software update. This collaboration allows AVerMedia hardware development and Stereolabs software releases to progress in parallel, shortening validation cycles and giving customers greater control over product schedules.
Ouster Partners with Seneca to Integrate Rev8 Lidar
Ouster and Seneca announced a partnership to integrate Ouster's Rev8 native color lidar into Seneca's autonomous drone platform. The collaboration combines Ouster's high-resolution, rugged Rev8 OS1 Max digital lidar with Seneca's autonomous drone platform to enhance perception, navigation, and obstacle avoidance in demanding outdoor environments. By integrating the digital lidar into its perception stack, Seneca aims to enable its drones to operate safely at higher speeds across the three mission areas that define its platform: carrying heavy cargo to the fire line, following terrain for mapping and vegetation management, and inspecting structures and utility infrastructure. Longer range gives an aircraft more time to react to what is ahead, and 256 channels at up to 4K horizontal resolution hold that detail as speed increases.
Ouster and Flyability Showcase Technology Collaboration at INTERGEO 2026
Ouster and Flyability will showcase their long-standing technology collaboration at INTERGEO 2026, taking place September 15-17 in Munich, Germany. Flyability will join Ouster at Booth B5I018 in Hall B5, where the companies will demonstrate how the combination of Flyability's collision-tolerant Elios 3 drone and Ouster's digital lidar enables industrial teams to capture accurate 3D data in environments that are difficult to access with conventional surveying equipment and unsafe for people to enter. For more than five years, Flyability and Ouster have worked together around a shared challenge: enabling reliable mapping and inspection in dangerous, dark and GPS-denied environments. The collaboration combines two complementary technologies: Flyability's Elios 3 is designed to fly safely in confined and inaccessible spaces, while Ouster's compact, rugged OS0 lidar provides the high-density 3D measurements required for spatial awareness and mapping. Data from the Ouster lidar feeds Flyability's SLAM and mapping systems, supporting real-time localization, flight stability and collision avoidance. This rich data also allows Elios 3 operators to capture measurable 3D representations of industrial assets during their inspection missions.
