Universal Display Corporation Launches OLEDX to Enhance OLED Energy Efficiency
Universal Display Corporation unveiled OLEDX, a proprietary device architecture designed to improve how light is extracted and utilized within an OLED, while giving display makers greater control over how that light is delivered to the viewer. UDC introduced OLEDX during an invited presentation at the International Meeting on Information Display in Busan, Korea, where the Company also highlighted its breakthrough OLEDX laboratory results that represent one of the most significant advances in OLED energy efficiency since the invention of phosphorescent OLED technology. The company said, " Key Benefits of OLEDX: Energy Efficiency: Opens a path to extract 100% of light from an OLED. High-Fidelity Imagery: Enables ultra-wide viewing angles without noticeable color shift or brightness changes. Design Freedom: Unlocks customizable efficiency and viewing angle profiles for significant power saving and/or viewing benefits across form factors, enabling performance tailored for each application from smartphones to TVs, laptops, tablets, monitors, automotive displays and beyond."
Universal Display Opens OLED Technology Center in Chengdu, China
Universal Display announced the grand opening of its OLED Technology and Innovation Center in Chengdu, China. This expanded footprint reflects the Company's long-term investment in the region and its role within the broader OLED ecosystem. "The opening of our Chengdu OLED Technology and Innovation Center marks an important milestone in our continued growth in China and reinforces our long-term commitment to our customers and partners," said Steven V. Abramson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Universal Display Corporation. "As a leader in OLED technologies and phosphorescent materials, we are expanding our presence in the region to foster greater collaboration, provide more direct, hands-on support while advancing the development of next-generation high-performance, energy-efficient and sustainable displays and lighting."

Universal Display Corporation Reports Q1 Revenue of $142.2M
Reports Q1 revenue $142.2M, consensus $160.66M. "While near-term market conditions have become more measured, we remain focused on execution and long-term value creation. Universal Display Approves Up to $400 Million Share Repurchase Program
Universal Display announced that its Board of Directors has authorized a new share repurchase program of up to $400 million of the Company's common stock. This authorization is incremental to the $100 million share repurchase program approved in April 2025, which was fully utilized through the first quarter of 2026. In addition, the Board declared a second quarter cash dividend of $0.50 per share on the Company's common stock. "The Board's approval of this new share repurchase authorization, together with our quarterly dividend, underscores our commitment to returning capital to shareholders through a disciplined and balanced capital allocation framework," said Steven V. Abramson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Universal Display Corporation.
