McGraw Hill Acquires Teachally to Accelerate K-12 Curriculum Development
McGraw Hill announced the acquisition of Teachally, enabling the company to develop, adapt and bring high-quality K-12 curriculum products to market faster in the U.S. and around the world, while offering new AI-powered tools that help teachers save time, simplify lesson planning and customize McGraw Hill curriculum to their classroom needs. Co-founded by Daniel Bernstein and Rushil Makkar and designed specifically for high-quality curriculum development to support classroom instruction, Teachally's AI platform gives educators the ability to create, localize and translate standards-aligned instructional materials, grounded in instructional content and ready for classroom use. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Stock Futures Modestly Higher, Cerebras Systems Down 15%
Stock futures are modestly higher as investors digest softer-than-feared Producer Price Index data that follows yesterday's July CPI report.The Fed outlook has become somewhat more favorable for equities following the inflation data and the weak July employment report. Markets are now pricing roughly a 66% probability that the Fed holds rates steady at its next meeting, according to Reuters.Technology and AI infrastructure stocks remain an important source of strength. At the same time, Cerebras Systems is under pressure after its results missed expectations, highlighting how high expectations have become for companies tied to the AI buildout.Oil prices are providing some relief after six consecutive sessions of gains. Company Adjusts EBITDA Outlook to $750M-$790M
Sees adjusted EBITDA $750M-$790M. "Fiscal first quarter 2027 represents a solid start to our fiscal year, with revenue, re-occurring revenue, and Adjusted EBITDA all coming in above our expectations," said Bob Sallmann, CFO. "Re-occurring revenue and Adjusted EBITDA margins continue to grow, reflecting the durability of our model and cost discipline.
