Company Raises 2026 Organic Sales Growth Outlook to 9.0%-10.0%
The company said, "The Company is updating its full year 2026 outlook for Organic Sales2 growth to 9.0% to 10.0%, compared to its previous outlook of 8.5% to 9.5%, reflecting strong existing and new customer demand. The Company updated its Adjusted EBITDA outlook to $3.3 billion to $3.4 billion, compared to its previous outlook of $3.5 to $3.6 billion, primarily reflecting higher than expected inflationary pressure from the Middle East conflict, increased operational investments to support customer demand, quality remediation efforts, and retail channel softness. The Organic Sales2 reflects IEEPA tariff customer repayments and the Adjusted EBITDA2 outlook does not reflect the benefit of IEEPA tariff refunds."

Reports Q2 revenue $7.69B, consensus $7.51B. Medline Signs New Prime Vendor Agreement with Allina Health
Medline signed a new Prime Vendor agreement with Allina Health, a healthcare system based in Minneapolis that provides care to communities across Minnesota and western Wisconsin through its network of 12 hospital campuses and more than 90 clinics. Through this agreement, Allina Health will have access to Medline's comprehensive portfolio of medical-surgical products for its hospital and physician office sites, as well as powerful distribution capabilities to help streamline ordering and timely, reliable delivery of medical supplies.
Medline Signs New Warehouse Lease in California, Expands 45%
Medline earlier announced a lease agreement for an existing 925,000-square-foot warehouse in Tracy, Calif.,for immediate occupancy, as well as a709,000-square-foot facility nearby inStockton, Calif., for use in January 2027. "These two facilities total more than 1.6 million square feet of new medical supplies distribution center space and more than supplant the 1 million-square-foot Tracy facility that was destroyed by fire on June 11. This new capacity to serve regional healthcare providers also represents a 45% expansion of Medline's customer-facing Northern California footprint from just one month ago," the company stated. "The Medline team's resilience,determinationand commitment to serving healthcare providers have been nothing short of extraordinary. William Blair Analyst Says Medline Shares Drop Due to California Fire
William Blair analyst Brandon Vazquez says Medline shares are lower on news of a fire at a distribution center in Tracy, California. The 1M square-foot facility represents 4% of the company's warehouse space in the U.S. and 3% globally, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Blair believes Medline will spend to make sure customer orders are fulfilled. As such, the company's margins could see some impact in the short term, the firm adds. However, it expects the impact on the stock to be "manageable over the medium term since Medline's scale will allow it to continue to fulfill customer orders." Blair keeps an Outperform rating on Medline, which is down 4% to $35.47 in early trading.
