LPL Financial Client Assets Decrease to $2.55 Trillion in July

LPL Financial released its monthly activity report for July. Total client assets at the end of July were $2.55T, a decrease of $16.1B, or 0.6%, compared to the end of June. Advisory assets as a percentage of total assets increased to 60.6%, up from 55.5% a year ago. Total organic net new assets for July were $7.4B, translating to a 3.5% annualized growth rate. Total client cash balances at the end of July were $54.3B, a decrease of $2.6B compared to the end of June. Net buying in July was $14.7B.

LPL Financial released its monthly activity report for May. Total client assets at the end of May were $2.55T, an increase of $76.9B, or 3.1%, compared to the end of April. Advisory assets as a percentage of total assets increased to 60.2%, up from 55.1% a year ago.
