Hyliion Reports Q2 Revenue of $4.9M, Raises Outlook by 50%
Reports Q2 revenue $4.9M, two estimates $2.4M. Hyliion Raises 2026 Revenue Guidance to Approximately $15 Million
Hyliion is increasing its full year 2026 revenue guidance to approximately $15 million, a 50% increase from its previous outlook. The Company also continues to expect to complete an equipment financing transaction during 2026, with anticipated proceeds of $10 million to $15 million. As a result of higher revenue, lower capital spending, and planned equipment financing, Hyliion now expects net cash use of $30 million to $35 million during 2026, resulting in a year end cash and investments balance of $115 million to $120 million, compared with its previous outlook of approximately $100 million.
Hyliion Awarded $41.7M Navy Contract
Hyliion Holdings announced it has been awarded a $41.7M contract from the Office of Naval Research, ONR, to design, develop, and deliver two multi-megawatt Karno Power Modules for validation in land and maritime applications at NAVSEA, Philadelphia. This contract represents Hyliion's largest military contract to date and marks a significant milestone in scaling the Karno platform toward multi-megawatt power solutions for both defense and commercial applications.
Hyliion Demonstrates Multiple KARNO Power Modules Operating in Coordination
Hyliion Holdings announced the demonstration of multiple KARNO Power Modules operating together as a single coordinated generation system. During the test, the two 200 kW units automatically shared changing electrical loads while maintaining stable power delivery. The demonstration validated the KARNO Management System's ability to coordinate multiple Power Modules and dynamically adjust the contribution of each unit as power demand changes. This capability is designed to improve system flexibility, optimize module operation, and support reliable power delivery across applications with variable electrical loads. In addition, the test supports Hyliion's development of a standardized 800 kW building block and larger 2.4 MW and 3.2 MW power plant configurations with multiple 200 kW KARNO systems operating in parallel seamlessly.
Hyliion Holdings Awarded $41.7 Million Contract by Office of Naval Research
The company states: "Hyliion Holdings announced that it has been awarded a $41,699,946 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract by the Office of Naval Research. The contract provides for the design, development, construction, testing and delivery of 2-megawatt and 3-megawatt KARNO(TM) power generation systems at locations identified by the Office of Naval Research."
