TechnipFMC Signs MoU with BP for 20K Subsea Tree Systems
TechnipFMC (FTI) "announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with BP Exploration & Production Inc., a subsidiary of BP p.l.c. (BP), which sets out a framework for bp and TechnipFMC to cooperate in connection with the supply of 20,000 psi (20K) subsea tree systems for bp's Paleogene projects in the Gulf of America. The MoU allows both parties to identify and work cooperatively on early opportunities and future technology development in support of greater schedule certainty and improved project outcomes."

TechnipFMC (FTI) has been awarded a significant subsea contract by Petrobras (PBR), following a competitive bidding process, to supply flexible pipe systems supporting developments offshore Brazil. TechnipFMC will design, engineer, and manufacture flexible flowlines for use across multiple pre-salt fields. The project will draw on local engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain capabilities, further strengthening Brazil's offshore energy industry. Jonathan Landes, President, Subsea at TechnipFMC, commented: "This award highlights the confidence Petrobras continues to place in TechnipFMC's execution capabilities. Bhd., has been awarded a significant integrated Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation, iEPCI, contract by PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd. for the Limbayong deepwater project offshore Malaysia. This greenfield development will benefit from both our Subsea 2.0 configure-to-order platform and iEPCI execution of the entire subsea scope, reducing project cycle time on the fast-track development. For TechnipFMC, a "significant" contract is between $75 million and $250 million. This award will be included in inbound orders in the third quarter of 2026."

TechnipFMC has been awarded a significant(1) contract to supply flexible flowlines and risers by Azule Energy for the West Hub Tails project, an extension of the Block 15/06 Agogo Integrated Development. Under this award, TechnipFMC will design and manufacture flexible flowlines, risers, and associated equipment to accommodate all production from the West Hub area for consolidation into the Agogo Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading vessel. For TechnipFMC, a "significant" contract is between $75 million and $250 million. This award will be included in inbound orders in the third quarter of 2026.
TechnipFMC Q2 Revenue $2.76B Beats Expectations
Reports Q2 revenue $2.76B, consensus $2.67B. CEO Doug Pferdehirt remarked, "I am pleased to share with you another strong set of financial results, demonstrating our ability to consistently execute at a very high level. Total company revenue in the period was $2.8B, with adjusted EBITDA of $601M when excluding foreign exchange impacts. We generated free cash flow of $488M and distributed $440M through dividends and share repurchases, delivering on our commitment to return the majority of free cash flow to shareholders. We achieved $2.5B of Subsea inbound in the quarter, including four announced awards...We will continue to benefit from a resilient and expanding offshore market. We remain confident in achieving $10B of Subsea inbound in 2026, followed by a step-up in orders in 2027, which we believe will extend through the end of the decade.
