Strive bought $280M in Bitcoin, its largest single purchase in months. Strive is adding Bitcoin at its fastest pace this year, buying another 3,311 BTC worth about $280 million, its largest single purchase since January. The Nasdaq-listed asset manager, ticker ASST, disclosed in a Monday filing that it bought Bitcoin between October 5 and October 9 at an average price of about $84,500 per coin including fees. The purchase brought Strive's total Bitcoin holdings to 32,773 BTC, worth about $2.73 billion at current prices, up from 29,462 BTC a week earlier. The purchase caps an aggressive accumulation period. Earlier this month, Strive added $169 million in Bitcoin, then its largest buy in four months, after its holdings had already surpassed 27,000 BTC. Personal market analysis only. #StrivePlans500MillionRaiseToBuyMoreBitcoin Strive is taking another major step in its corporate Bitcoin strategy, combining aggressive BTC accumulation with a new preferred stock financing proposal. The company's latest purchase and its planned $500 million SATS offering highlight an important trend in the crypto market: public companies are increasingly using capital markets to expand their Bitcoin exposure. However, holding more Bitcoin does not automatically mean a stronger financial position. Financing costs, dividend obligations, liquidity management, and shareholder dilution all deserve close attention. 1. Strive added 3,311 BTC to its treasury According to the company's SEC filing dated October 13, 2026, Strive purchased 3,311 BTC between October 5 and October 9 at an average price of about $84,500 per Bitcoin, including fees and expenses. As of October 9, this brought its total Bitcoin holdings to 32,773 BTC. This latest acquisition is especially notable because it is Strive's largest increase in Bitcoin holdings since it acquired about 5,048 BTC through an all-stock merger with Semler Scientific. In my view, this shows Strive remains committed to building its Bitcoin treasury. However, whether this strategy succeeds long term will depend on whether the company can keep accumulating BTC without placing excessive pressure on its financial position. 2. The $500 million SATS preferred stock offering Strive plans to issue 5 million shares of a newly created 15% Series A perpetual SATS preferred stock at $100 per share, targeting $500 million in gross proceeds. But there is an important distinction here: not all of this capital is specifically for buying Bitcoin. Under the proposed plan, proceeds could also be used for working capital, income-producing assets, acquisitions, capital expenditures, and repurchases of common or preferred stock. Therefore, investors should not read the proposed offering as a confirmed $500 million Bitcoin purchase. The actual amount allocated to BTC will depend on final proceeds and the company's capital allocation decisions. 3. The 15% dividend cost cannot be ignored SATS pays a 15% annual dividend rate on the stated amount of $100 per share. If all 5 million shares are issued and dividends are fully declared, the annualized dividend obligation would reach $75 million. Strive also intends to establish a reserve to cover the first 18 months of dividends. That equals $22.50 per share, or about $112.5 million based on the proposed offering size. These numbers reveal the core challenge behind the strategy. Raising capital can accelerate Bitcoin accumulation, but financing that growth comes with ongoing costs. The key question is whether Strive can create enough financial flexibility to meet these obligations across different market conditions. 4. Cash reserves provide additional flexibility Strive reported cash and cash equivalents of $310.3 million as of October 9, compared with $284.7 million a week earlier. Over the same period, its Bitcoin holdings rose from 29,462 BTC to 32,773 BTC. The combination of growing BTC holdings and cash reserves gives the company resources to handle liquidity requirements and other corporate priorities. Even so, cash must still be evaluated alongside the dividend reserve, operating expenses, and future financing needs. 5. What should investors watch next? In my view, the most important developments are three: whether the SATS offering is completed successfully, how much of the net proceeds is actually used to buy Bitcoin, and how Strive manages its preferred stock dividend obligations. Investors should also watch Bitcoin accumulation per share. Total BTC holdings may rise, but the benefit to existing shareholders may vary, especially when new securities are issued. My final take Strive's approach reflects a clear trade-off: additional capital may accelerate Bitcoin accumulation, but the 15% preferred stock dividend creates significant financing costs. I believe the real test is not only how much Bitcoin Strive acquires, but whether it can expand its treasury while maintaining financial discipline and protecting long-term shareholder value. What do you think: will Strive's proposed $500 million SATS offering strengthen its position among listed Bitcoin treasury companies, or could the 15% dividend obligation become a major challenge during a prolonged Bitcoin decline? #Strive #ShareWeekly #ContentMining #BTC [@Gate_Square](gt://mention/g1UZydKt-c9b1A62Hq)

#StriveHoldingsSurpass25000BTC 🚀 Strive Holdings surpasses 25,000 BTC Strive has reached a significant Bitcoin reserve milestone. After adding 469 BTC between September 8 and 11, with about $36.6 million invested, its holdings have grown to 25,000 BTC. The average purchase price is reported to be around $77,954 per BTC. The latest purchase is reported to have been funded entirely through SATA preferred stock, whose notional value now exceeds $1 billion. Strive's growing Bitcoin reserve keeps it among the public companies holding the largest amount of BTC. This milestone highlights that continued corporate Bitcoin accumulation remains an important theme in the digital asset market. 📊 How do you view the trend of more companies adding BTC to their reserves? #Bitcoin #BTC #CryptoMarket #Gate
