Ares Capital Reports Solid Q2 Results, 17 Years of Stable Dividends

Ares Capital Signs $1.5B Equity Distribution Agreements with Multiple Securities Firms
In a regulatory filing, the company said, "On April 28, 2026, Ares Capital Corporation, its investment adviser, Ares Capital Management and its administrator, Ares Operations, entered into separate equity distribution agreements, with each of Truist Securities, Mizuho Securities USA, RBC Capital Markets, Regions Securities and SMBC Nikko Securities America. The equity distribution agreements with the Sales Agents described in the preceding sentences are collectively referred to herein as the 'Equity Distribution Agreements.' The Equity Distribution Agreements provide that the company may from time to time issue and sell shares of its common stock having an aggregate offering price of up to $1.5B through the Sales Agents, or to them as principal for their own respective accounts."
