Renasant Appoints Catherine Mealor as CFO
Renasant "announced that Catherine Mealor will join the Company as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Jim Mabry, who has served as the Company's Chief Financial Officer since August 2020, will step down from the Chief Financial Officer role at the end of 2026, and transition into retirement in early 2027. Mealor will officially join the Company on October 5, 2026, and assume the role of Chief Financial Officer on January 1, 2027. The Company also announced today that the Board of Directors expressed its intention to nominate Mabry for election as a director at the Company's 2027 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, subject to its standard nominating procedures."

The company also announced that the company's board of directors has approved a quarterly cash dividend of 24c per share to be paid June 30 to shareholders of record as of June 16. This represents a 1c increase in the company's quarterly dividend.

Renasant Discloses Material Weakness in Financial Reporting Controls
Renasant disclosed in its annual filing that it recently identified a material weakness in its internal control over financial reporting. This could impact the company's ability to report its results of operations and financial condition "accurately and in a timely manner," Renasant said in a filing. The company added, "Based upon their evaluation as of December 31, 2025, our Principal Executive Officer and Principal Financial Officer have concluded that, due to the material weakness in the Company's internal control over financial reporting." Shares of Renasant are down 3% to $37.71 in morning trading.
