Regions Bank Launches Materials and Infrastructure Group
Regions Bank announced the launch of its Materials and Infrastructure Group. The team expands Regions' Specialized Industries Group, which provides strategic guidance and customized solutions built around the needs of businesses serving a wide range of sectors. Regions Bank turned to Ryan Franco to launch the group. He will report to Leo Loughead, head of Regions Bank's Specialized Industries Group. Franco joined Regions in 2019 as part of the Diversified Industries Group.
Regions Financial Appoints Allen Mayer as Treasurer
Regions Financial announced Allen Mayer will be elevated to serve as Treasurer, succeeding Deron Smithy, who will retire at the end of 2026 following 18 years of distinguished leadership in the company. In addition, Craig Harrison is joining Regions as head of Corporate Finance, further strengthening the Finance Division's leadership team. Mayer will become Treasurer effective Sept. 28. Smithy will serve in an advisory capacity during the transition until the end of the year. Mayer has spent 17 years in Regions' Treasury organization, most recently as Assistant Treasurer and previously as Head of Balance Sheet Management. Harrison brings more than 20 years of finance leadership to his new position. Most recently, he served as chief financial officer for the Commercial Bank at Citizens Financial Group.

Regions Financial Executive Keenan to Retire in 2026
Regions Financial announced Chief Administrative Officer, CAO, Dave Keenan will retire at the end of 2026 following more than two decades of leadership at the company. Kate Danella, currently head of Consumer Banking, will succeed Keenan as Chief Administrative Officer. John Jordan will succeed Danella as head of Consumer Banking, while Chief People Officer Angela Santone will begin reporting directly to Regions Chairman, President, and CEO John Turner.
