Reports Q2 revenue $193.1M vs. $185.40M last year. Natalia Shuman, President and CEO commented, "Our Q2 results show continued progress against the transformation we outlined under Vision2030. We generated $193.1M in revenue, delivered $25.8M of Adjusted EBITDA in the second quarter, achieved significantly improved free cash flow with an increase of $23.9M quarter-over-quarter, and continued to position the business around higher-growth, higher-value end markets. Q2 also marked the fourth consecutive quarter of mid-single-digit revenue growth, a notable benchmark that underscores MISTRAS becoming a more diversified, more technology-enabled, and less cyclical company."
Mistras Expands Capabilities at Los Angeles Laboratory
Mistras announced expanded capabilities at its Los Angeles, California laboratory. New capabilities include welding, grinding, and rework services, along with two CNC machines and vertical turning centers capable of running parts up to three tons. The facility has also added automated ultrasonic testing systems for plate and bar inspection, and coordinate measuring machine dimensional inspection to support precise validation of critical components. These additions build on the lab's established position as a specialized resource for large-format and high-specification aerospace components. Existing capabilities include radiographic testing, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, penetrant testing, and chemical processing, including etch, passivation, alkaline clean, masking, and related processes.
Mistras Expands Capabilities at Houston Laboratory
Mistras announced expanded capabilities at its Houston, Texas in-house laboratory, adding new equipment and services designed to help customers in the aerospace and defense industries maintain production schedules and meet demanding quality requirements. The Houston in-house laboratory has invested in its aerospace manufacturing support capabilities and is fully equipped to provide rapid, turnkey solutions for manufacturing, inspection, repair, and rework requirements. The facility now offers aerospace casting weld repair and rework supported by procedures and personnel qualified to AWS D17.1 requirements, along with precision grinding, cutting, metal finishing, and component restoration services. Additional investments include dedicated immersion ultrasonic inspection tanks for forgings, advanced 1-3" and 3-5" rotary ultrasonic inspection systems for bar, billet, and forging examinations, fluorescent penetrant inspection, ultrasonic cleaning and DI water processing, and advanced digital radiography utilizing a 320kV X-ray system.
