Lyntris Expands Contract with U.S. Navy to $6.48M
Lyntris announced a $6.48M expansion of its Maritime Tactical Command and Control, MTC2, contract with the U.S. Navy to develop a precision formation flight capability-where Lyntris' autonomy technology would be combined with Robinson Unmanned's SPARTAN unmanned aircraft. The contract would extend Lyntris' Navy portfolio from maritime command and control into autonomous unmanned aircraft, with the expectation of enabling small UAS fleets to establish, hold and adapt deliberate geometries in three dimensions.
Lyntris Opens Technology Hub in St. Paul, Minnesota
Lyntris announced it has opened a technology hub in St. Paul, Minnesota, and has joined the Minnesota National Security Ecosystem, MN-NS-ECO. "The hub will focus initially on AI-enabled readiness and contested logistics, bringing Lyntris' products closer to customers, partners and programs across the Upper Midwest," the company said.
Lyntris Receives Production Orders from Raytheon for LTAMDS Program
Lyntris (LYNX) has received production orders from Raytheon, an RTX (RTX) business, supporting Option Years Two and Three of the U.S. Army's Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor, or LTAMDS, program. The orders fall under the long-term purchase agreement Lyntris established with Raytheon in 2023 and cover production demand through 2028. LTAMDS is expected to be the U.S. Army's replacement for the Patriot radar and the sensing foundation of its Integrated Air and Missile Defense architecture. The U.S. Army has moved the program from development into full-rate production, with Raytheon serving as prime contractor. Under the production orders, Lyntris will manufacture the precision thermal management assemblies that enable LTAMDS active electronically scanned array performance. Production will run across the company's Newark, California and Carson City, Nevada facilities.
Lyntris Completes Qualification for Raytheon's SPY-6 Radar Hardware Assembly
Lyntris on September 24 announced that it has completed qualification of a hardware assembly supporting Raytheon's SPY-6 family of radars. "This qualification is a crucial milestone in the production ramp for SPY-6, which is required to meet the increasing global demand for the world's premier maritime radar. Raytheon is an RTX business," the company said in a statement. It added, "The qualification is the result of a nearly two-year collaboration between Lyntris and Raytheon to strengthen supply chain resilience for this mission-critical hardware. Throughout the effort, the companies worked together to establish manufacturing processes, validate performance and qualify Lyntris as a scalable source capable of supporting long-term program requirements."
Lyntris Completes Qualification for Raytheon's SPY-6 Radar Hardware Assembly
Lyntris (LYNX) has completed qualification of a critical hardware assembly supporting Raytheon's (RTX) SPY-6 family of radars. SPY-6 is the radar family that the U.S. Navy is fielding across its surface fleet, providing detection and tracking against air, surface, ballistic missile, and electronic warfare threats. As SPY-6 moves from development into production, Lyntris worked with Raytheon to build vertically integrated manufacturing and test capability in California and Nevada for the radar's Radar Modular Assembly. Raytheon asked Lyntris to identify supply chain constraints that could limit build rates in full-rate production. Over nearly two years, the companies established manufacturing processes, validated performance and qualified Lyntris as a scalable source for wedgelock assemblies that meet U.S. Navy requirements and support long-term program needs.
