Innovative Aerosystems Selected by Dornier Seawings for Data Acquisition Unit

Innovative Aerosystems announced that it has been selected by Dornier Seawings to provide its Liberty Data Acquisition Unit for the Dornier Seastar aircraft. Under the program, IA will develop, test, certify and produce the Liberty DAU for integration into the Seastar aircraft. The program began in September 2026 and is expected to progress through design reviews, prototype hardware deliveries, qualification testing and certification, with Technical Standard Order achievement currently targeted for 2028. Dornier Seawings expects to deliver approximately 300 aircraft over the first ten years of the program.
